I just switched up my Roth IRA to 50% SCHD, 25% SCHX, 25% SCHG, and my Roth 401k is 70% vanguard S&P 500 index, 20% vanguard growth index, and 10% vanguard international index. Seeking best possible ways to grow $350k into $1m+ before retirement, I'm 55.
Those sound like great picks! consider financial advisory so you don’t keep switching it up, top 3 payers for the month were $OHI, $KMI, and $EDP... not bad for 350k
You have a very valid point, I started investing on my own and for a long time, the market was really ripping me off. I decided to hire a CFA, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 14.3%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so I’ve been sticking to investing via an advisor.
I'm intrigued by this. I've searched for financial advisers online but it's kind of hard to get in touch with one. Okay if I ask you for a recommendation?
I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Aileen Gertrude Tippy” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look her up.
I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with 10k and I’m up with 128k in a short period of time .This comment serves as motivation for all those who have invested and continue to invest in cryptocurrencies with so many losses, do not give up, cryptocurrencies can change your life. Do your best to connect with the right people and you will surely see changes.
I'm new to cryptocurrency and don't understand how it really works. how Can someone know the right approach to investing and making good profits from cryptocurrency investments?
As a beginner investor, it’s essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. Myself, I’m guided by Alex Gomez. A widely known crypto consultant
I started working with Alex Gomez back in June, and my financial goals have never been clearer. It’s like having a strategic partner for my money with a solid track record.
I suggest you offset your real estate and get into stocks, A recession as bad it can be, provides good buying opportunities in the markets if you’re careful and it can also create volatility giving great short time buy and sell opportunities too. This is not financial advise but get buying, cash isn’t king at all in this time!
One strategy for protecting against a recession is to buy equities. Investors, especially during a recession, need to know where and how to put money in order to make money while avoiding inflation.
For the average person, the strategies are fairly demanding. In actuality, most professionals who have the necessary abilities and knowledge to complete such occupations do so successfully.
Working with a Financial Advisor to help guide you on your wealth-building journey if you're just starting out is a wonderful way to get started and thats how i was able to accrued good gains . They helps to manage investment overall risk profile , prevent permanent loss of capital consider maintaining a broad diversification of your investments that reflects your personal risk tolerance, time horizon, and the nature of your financial goal
When ‘Carol Vivian Constable’ is trading, there's no nonsense and no excuses. She wins the trade and you win. Take the loss, I promise she'll take one with you.
I had problem comprehending trading in general. I tried watching other UA-cam trading channels, but they made the concepts more complicated. I was almost giving up until when i discovered content and explain everything in detail. The videos are easy to follow
I've been making a lot of looses trying to make profit trading. I thought trading on a demo account is just like trading the real market. Can anyone help me out or at least advise me on what to do?
Trading on a demo account can definitely feel similar to the real market, but there are some differences. It's important to remember that trading involves risks and it's normal to face looses sometimes. One piece of advice is to start small and gradually increase your investments as you gain more experience and confidence. It might also be helpful to seek guidance from experienced traders or do some research on different trading strategies.
As always, a great analysis. Newcomers often wonder if it's too late to navigate the financial market, but the market is always unpredictable. Trading has more advantages than simply holding, so it's important to learn before diving in. Active trades are necessary to ride the market's waves. Thanks to Walter James Henry’s insights, daily trade signals, and my dedication to learning, I've been increasing my daily earnings. Kudos to the journey ahead!>>
Over the years, I've been a part of numerous trading programs, sifting through a barrage of information. Yet, nothing has come close to the sheer clarity, depth, and precision of James Walter insights. It's akin to finding a diamond in a coal mine.
I’ve been making a lot of losses trying to make profit trading. I thought trading on a demo account is just like trading the real market. Can anyone help me out or at least advise me on what to do?
wow, I think you’re really should do more videos on this topic. It suits you so well and you’re an amazing professor. I I am an Econ major and even so I still never understood this… it’s actually the first time getting it. Thank you so so much. It was so clear.
I'm trying to learn more and more about forex every single day but I still have some questions and the most important one is: Let's say I don't have time for studying charts and I'm someone who doesn't know when to buy and sell can someone let's say who had made profits and knows what he's doing tell me when to buy and sell is it profitable. The second question is. There are lots of different platforms and I'm using meta trader 4, does every platform has its own market? What I mean by that is every platform has its own prices and fluctuations?
Everyone keep stating the importance and advantages of working with proper mentorship but no one offers pointers on how to find good trading mentorship. Sucks yeah🤦
Trading is mental game, that is why most people lose money because they cannot control their emotions. Because the prevalent idea of our culture is to effortless indulge and focus on their own pleasure and wellbeing, but controlling your emotions is unpleasant and painful and that is why most traders lose money because they don't want to meet the pain. That is why there is so many drugs, alcohol, obese and fat people, broken marriages and adultery.
Mrs Erna solbeg's concept is key in beating all odds to excel in this form of online commodity. Her management team is quite impressive so far! With SUK made a profit of over 28,863 dollar
I remember having a consultation with a financial analyst last August, and it was incredibly insightful. Can’t stress enough how helpful experts in this field are!
As long as you diversify your portfolio, any single stock or investment that you own shouldn’t have too much of an impact on your overall return. If it does, diversifying might be the right choice for you, as one can also try out other commodities. I now have a balanced portfolio that is yielding me profit thanks to guidance from Jonas W. Herman.
That’s awesome! I’ve been contemplating hiring one since I can’t get a hang of investing even after buying courses. I’d like a discussion with him. Any means to reach him?
I started working with Jonas back in June, and my financial goals have never been clearer. It’s like having a strategic partner for my money with a solid track record.
Jonas’ adept risk management strategies and ability to optimize my portfolio amidst last year’s market fluctuations have demonstrated a level of sophistication that instills confidence. Not to mention some of the little tricks he's taught me to maneuver the market.
I lost over $70K when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I find one source to recover my money, at least $9k profits weekly. Thanks so much Naomi Tyler
What impresses me most about Naomi Tyler is how well she explains basic concept of winning before actually letting you use his trade signals. This goes a long way to ensure winning trades
You're right! I have lost a lot trading all by myself without a guide. It's been an uneasy ride for me. Who is your mentor please. how can i reach her i really need help in this bear market now?
I just retired recently and i find this video very creative if i must say, these psychological concepts are useful for individuals attempting to avoid mistakes. This is why warren buffet talked about temperament being crucial to investing success.
I'd retiring or working less in 8 years, and considering this financial recession, Im deciding to begin taking up skilled trades. I'm curious to know best how people split their pay, how much of it goes into savings, spendings or investments, I earn around $120K per year but nothing to show for it yet.
Very true, I find myself lucky enough exposed to money management at an early age. Worked full time when I was 19, purchased first home at 28 fact forward timo I'm 57 now not laid off
i just googled the man you mentioned, I am quite impressed with his credentials, will get in touch because I need all the help I can get, and consequently schedule a phone call.
Great video Elena! One thing to note about Roth IRA is that yes you can withdraw your contributions before 59.5 years old without penalty 🎉 it’s just your earnings/gains that are locked up with a fee if you choose to withdraw early.
Thanks for keeping us informed. I feel for our country, low income people are now suffering to survive yet inflation and recession keep increasing daily, many families can't even enhance the good cost of living anymore. You've helped me a lot Ms Lewis! Imagine receiving $6,000 after some days.
Good video, I'm new to the world of investments, I've heard a lot about cryptocurrencies, the stock market and other types of investments, and I would appreciate it if someone could guide me to start investing to increase my income
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my entire life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Veronica Hoy.
Wow. I'm a bit perplexed seeing her been mentioned here also Didn’t know she has been good to so many people too this is wonderful, I'm in my fifth trade with her and it has been super.
She is my family's personal Broker and also a personal Broker to many families in the United states, she is a licensed broker and a FINRA AGENT in the United States.
Can someone help me? I just put my student loans into deferment because of economic hardship. Should I still start investing. I want to invest, but there's no way I'm going to be able to pay off all this debt anytime soon.
My question is what kind of investments are you talking about when you mentioned getting returns on now? I imagined that you had to wait until retirement for most if not all investments? Thanks!
you might want to look into ESG (environmental, social and governance) funds! they’re designed to be a more ethical, values-aligned way of investing and regularly kick companies out who don’t meet their standards. each ESG fund is different though - definitely do your own research into the companies that make up any of these funds you’re interested in to ensure they truly align with your values
you can invest into green funds, or sustainability certified funds. But again it only takes some quick research to find whether you are investing into arms companies or military industrial complex
And funny how I first got introduced to your channel when I was searching vacation in Norway on UA-cam. It was random video of you in Norway and things to do. Ever since, you cought my attention. Funny how your channel and Manchester United FC is the most frequently viewed along with Norway on my UA-cam search. Lol
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my entire life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Lizzy Stevens
Lizzy's expertise in customizing investment portfolios based on changing market conditions and personal risk profiles is exceptional. It's not a one-size-fits-all approach, which is crucial in crypto investing.
What impresses me most about Lizzy Stevens is how well she explains basic concept of winning before actually letting you use her trade signals. This goes a long way to ensure winning trades.
so does your money return after a crash rises back if you waited for a rise instead of withdrawing remains, for example, 1000 invested, crash occurs, lose 500 , leave the remaining 500, after a month or more, market rises again , does the lost 500 come back again with the returns coming with the rise in market or its only your 500 left that multiplies by percentage of market rise ? that is 1000 multiplies or just the 500 multiplies . I'm new to this things so might be a bit confusing
you have a real talent for explaining all of this! my bf has been trying to help me understand investing and I only JUST understood it after your video. Thank you!
Love this! Could you dive deeper into the expense ratio aspect? Interested to hear what’s high and what’s low and how you should think about it long term.
Yeah, that's a good question. It's easy to say, "Expense ratio is 0.15%", but that doesn't tell you much about how much the expenses will compound over time. One can just create a spreadsheet to show this, and it's actually just shocking how much "small" expense ratios can degrade long-term returns. However, she recommends buying VOO, which has one of the lowest expense ratios (0.03%) you're likely to ever see. So I don't consider it a problem for VOO whatsoever.
Elena! 🌟 Really enjoyed your video-super insightful investing tips without feeling overwhelmed. Plus, your simple and aesthetic explanations make it easy to grasp. Also, hair routine tutorial, please? 😊
In my 20s and i actually tried to invest some weeks back, came out with way less... would have been better off saving or even lavishing them funds... lts a trap...lmao
It's not a trap and I've been in your shoes before. I'll tell you for sure that it's because you rushed into it. You must either understand the market or get the services of a financial advisor for your "investment" to count. I made a couple of thousands last year only after some months of throwing my money in the wind. You should try again, good thing is you now know better. Goodluck!
This is me ah. I have also considered using an FA but I don't know how to go about it. please, what are the steps for getting one? like a really good one.
You should start by looking out for those from known firms and good track records. You should also make sure the person is licensed. Personally, I use Marie, Kelly Matwick. She's good and you could also check her out.
Elena! Thanks for this content that is so useful specially explained in such aesthetic and simple way. Please show us if you want your hair routine! your hair always looks amazing
Hey Alena, I really enjoyed your video on investing for beginners. I've been thinking about diversifying my portfolio with crypto, and I've heard about My Digital Money. Have you ever considered investing in a crypto IRA?
This is amazing I searched your old investing video helping my little brother last night 😂❤ he downloaded robinhood and did the vanguard s&p 500 per your advice
Thank you for sharing this. You're so inspiring to me and I can't rave enough about how much I love to see thriving women who inspire me to be unapologetically ambitious! 👠💪 Love your channel
I set up a Roth IRA & a brokerage account with them a few years ago and it literally took like a few minutes to set up. Website is pretty user friendly, just try it! Their customer service is good too, I called when I had a question later and they were super helpful.
Thanks for the updated video, I watched the first one 3 years ago and your content is still as good and relevant! I did have questions; I know you suggested spreading out the investment instead of 1 lump sum, so would investing every month a smaller amount continuously be beneficial or do you stop once you hit your lump sum target?
Just the last part were a bit fast. Maybe you can delve deeper or take some more time to explain especially how the app works in a future video. Otherwise, everything else was extremely clear.
Amazing video, I thought I had been investing all this time, but I didn't realize I actually had to buy the stocks, so the money was just sitting on my account. I do have a question, when opening a brokerage account did you use a Vanguard federal money market fund or a Vanguard cash deposit, what is the difference between the two?
The investment principle is, "Buy and hold the S&P 500". So everyone would earn the same amount. There's a very famous bit of stock market advice: "Don't try to beat the market. You'll fail." Don't look at it as a game or a competition. It's more like long-term financial hygiene.

I’d recommend Trisha Davis, her profit is great even when there’s a dip
Hey i'm shocked you just mentioned and recommended trisha davis, i thought i was the only one trading with her
you dont need to be shocked haha because i'm also a huge beneficiary of her
The amount of bots is crazy. Thanks for the informative video!

What is the best strategy to enter crypto trading now for someone with more or less than $29k
Almost gave up due to constant losses, but Jared turned my luck around
I went from 50k to 400k with Jared. Thanks to that I paid off my debts

I would be delighted if you could recommend a trusted professional mentor. Thanks

Use a professional like Catherine if you wish to make good profits in it.
She is really amazing, she helped recover all I had lost trying to trade for myself

thank you!! you are so helpful. why didn't anyone in my high school or college ever take 16 minutes to teach everyone this!! you rock girl thanks
I’m an accountant and I really found this video helpful! Content like this helps make these topics much more accessible❤
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my entire life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Veronica Hoy.

I was skeptical at first till I decided to try. Its huge returns is awesome. I can't say much
Can someone help me? I just put my student loans into deferment because of economic hardship. Should I still start investing. I want to invest, but there's no way I'm going to be able to pay off all this debt anytime soon.
Loved this! You made everything simple for us all to understand better!
when my research says i should do my own research 😭
Thank you for this!! You’ve demystified this whole process for me.
I've been watching vids on how to invest for beginners lately and this was very helpful! 😀
Thanks for explaining in such a way that it's easy to understand❤ much love!
My question is what kind of investments are you talking about when you mentioned getting returns on now? I imagined that you had to wait until retirement for most if not all investments? Thanks!
Would love to know more about the ethics involved with investing, and how you can invest more ethically
Yes agreed! How to find ethical companies to invest in as the top companies are not usually the best for that
you might want to look into ESG (environmental, social and governance) funds! they’re designed to be a more ethical, values-aligned way of investing and regularly kick companies out who don’t meet their standards. each ESG fund is different though - definitely do your own research into the companies that make up any of these funds you’re interested in to ensure they truly align with your values
Check out Venetia La Manna, she's talked about ethical banking/investing on her podcast.
you can invest into green funds, or sustainability certified funds. But again it only takes some quick research to find whether you are investing into arms companies or military industrial complex
@@philippawood5047 thanks!
the first time i actually understood investing!!! thank you!!!!
Say you invest $500 into the fund you picked, if at a later date you wanted to invest more in that same one, can you? And how do you?
I loved this video Elena - great stuff, and great lessons in here
Thanks Humphrey!
thank you, I really enjoyed your breakdowns!

Hi! What if i want to invest ethically?
you have a real talent for explaining all of this! my bf has been trying to help me understand investing and I only JUST understood it after your video. Thank you!
This was extremely helpful thank you!!
Great video. I’d love to hear what you have to say on investing and sustainability together!!!
She's good and you could also check her out.
story of my life

Loved your way of explaining it!!
Have you thought about doing a book club?

Women explaining investing just hits different
Hey Alena, I really enjoyed your video on investing for beginners. I've been thinking about diversifying my portfolio with crypto, and I've heard about My Digital Money. Have you ever considered investing in a crypto IRA?
When you wanna understand but your brain hearing this info is like 😵💫 😵💫
This is amazing I searched your old investing video helping my little brother last night 😂❤ he downloaded robinhood and did the vanguard s&p 500 per your advice
I think VRITOKEN will be the most important project in crypto. But HBAR sounds nice too. Will buy some with my VRITOKEN earnings lmao
Thank you for sharing this. You're so inspiring to me and I can't rave enough about how much I love to see thriving women who inspire me to be unapologetically ambitious! 👠💪 Love your channel
Thank you for creating an informative, but not overwhelming investing video! This was a great reminder on the dollar cost averaging concept!
Should I be a citizen of the USA for being able to invest in Vanguard?
Hi Elena,
Can you make a video about how to set up the vanguard account please??
I set up a Roth IRA & a brokerage account with them a few years ago and it literally took like a few minutes to set up. Website is pretty user friendly, just try it! Their customer service is good too, I called when I had a question later and they were super helpful.
Thanks for sharing! I wish my high school would've taught about investing/finances! Woulda been nice to start back then
Thank you, i found this extremely helpful cause i never knew where to begin my investments
How did you know investing was my new year’s goal!
Can u invest it retirement funds since it's not good to take it out early .
Thank you so so much on this video, you explained it so clearly❤
P.S.
Girl your plants are thriving ✨️

I clicked coz I love to know how to invest in that beauty
I have my account set, however I just don’t want to pour money into it just like this. Btw this video was very helpful Elena, great stuff!!
Great video! I would love to see a video where you talk about all the books you read last year :)

Buy some options straddle on the S&P500
Hi Elena, thanks for these investing tips! Would you recommend any ETFs in particular for long term investment goals?
Beautiful eyes!!! But if you want to learn how to invest join TIF
Good information.
Is VRITOKEN a diamond in the rough? Let's analyze!
Please can someone use the account for retirement investment and others types of investment
Just the last part were a bit fast. Maybe you can delve deeper or take some more time to explain especially how the app works in a future video. Otherwise, everything else was extremely clear.
Best and very informative video on the stocks I’ve seen so far thanks
and Bitcoin ?
Spoke a little too fast! Keep that in mind for the masterclass which I’m excited to take! Thank you 💓🎀
Amazing video, I thought I had been investing all this time, but I didn't realize I actually had to buy the stocks, so the money was just sitting on my account. I do have a question, when opening a brokerage account did you use a Vanguard federal money market fund or a Vanguard cash deposit, what is the difference between the two?
Well said
i needed this video thank you so so much
Motivated person for everyone but theres alot from nepal for you big ♥
Great video Elena!
Great video, I know there’s a lot related to taxes and investing, tell us more!
What’s your portfolio
something to note too is that you do not need to buy a full stock to invest you can also buy a piece of a stock for people who want to start small
VRITOKENs trajectory is fascinating. Share your insights!
nice
Elena you looks 👌 beautiful, gorgeous 😂😊
You should try to gamify this by creating a community of those who apply your investment principles and seeing who earns the most over 12 months?
The investment principle is, "Buy and hold the S&P 500". So everyone would earn the same amount. There's a very famous bit of stock market advice: "Don't try to beat the market. You'll fail." Don't look at it as a game or a competition. It's more like long-term financial hygiene.
thank you for sharing and explaining all of this !!!
NYC
Roth IRA Limit for 2025 went up to $7k
