    Porges is a treasure and a treasure-trove of helpful information for modern-day living. His theories on co-regulation and the interactions we provide clients validate the idea that it is in the connection that recovery is most swift and effective, not as much the technique used. Bravo!

    Finally I understand why it's so stressful for me when I'm dysregulated and telling someone about my state and they react strongly to it - even if it's affirmative like "OMG that really SUCKS I'm so sorry for you". Like this I can't log onto them, be engaged and co-regulate. Thank God my boyfriend has such a warm and calm energy

    I go into freeze when at the dentist, I can hear clearly, but I am paralized compleatley can't speak or move for quite a long time say half an hour, then the next few days I have no energy and have to stay in bed, the worst time was 6 weeks of deep pain

    • @Be1More
      @Be1More 5 років тому

      or is some of it nonsense? I wish that I knew more sometimes. And I can't think of and don't want to take the extra energy to find authoritative sources for this thing.... maybe over time it will be come mainstream knowledge.

      after listening to it and thinking about it... i think that it is real and new knowledge but I still don't still understand it and I posted all these things because I think it is important but I don't have anyone to talk to about it. Maybe more people will post comments here.
