Really nice review and great to see the love you have for the car. Sadly I had to sell my cloverleaf 2 years ago after many years of ownership and adventures in the car including driving it to Italy for an 11 month stay. This video has taken me down memory lane for sure, Rich.
Great video. I own the 1.6 diesel Sportiva and it starts every time, it’s great on long journeys, never hesitates and is super responsive. I love how nothing else really compares to it on the road. Solidly built car too.
I have the Giulietta Sportiva (the Diesel Cloverleaf, basically) and the shift from N to D is real. You feel like you're going from comfortable cruising to suddenly being dragged along by a batshit crazy stallion.
@@SplodgeMotors - yeah to be honest it was intended as a car I'd only be keeping for a short while (I had a Merc which got written off after someone pulled out on me / I needed transportation ASAP for my job) but I love it so much I ended up keeping it! I had a 147 back in the day and that still remains my all time favourite.
Lovely car bud but youre wrong about the multiair engine. It uses hydraulically actuated variable valve timing and variable valve lift. They are very sensitive to oil so its vital to use correct spec and change it regularly. Beats the pants off vtec as it is constantly variable
@@SplodgeMotors unfortunately they are much fun to !!! that is why it is called a passion ! not to much rational should be applied when driving italian cars
The fuel economy bit is all marketing speak lol, I get 22 mpg out of my 2012 Quadrifoglio Verde😬, other than that, it’s the perfect first car. Great review

What a trully spectacular car they are! I bet driving around Italy would have been iconic!!

Couldent agree more!
Can anyone tell me how to figure out what QV actually got the adaptive suspension? Great review by the way, love the looks of these.
Thanks man, wish we could help with the answer but not to sure

@@pauljackson112 I've been in the same situation as you and it's a heartbreaker. Glad you managed to find something tho bro!

Good to know. Thank you
Nice review, bit like Marmite those Alfas, but at east they stay different which is nice to see.
That is very True, But they definitly turn heads!
like it, where not sold much ... rare stuff. only issue if the adjustable dampers fail(standard on the qv models), it is not cheap to replace
I bet, expensive things these italian cars....

Amazing car!
