You are absolutely so killing it with these mod reviews. Killing it big time! A lot of the mods are all really cool, but I usually find at least 1-3 mods that fits into my style of play to want to mod a game feature. Still, I’m flabbergasted at what the modders come up with in what they can do and I’m wondering why the hell didn’t Bethesda and all their team of devs make some these changes themselves from the get go. At some point you should also cover the light weight install of mods and how they affect the game and that kind of stuff. I tend to stick to mods that are very minimal in install side of small KB size. I’m very weary of any mods no matter how good it supposedly is that’s over 1 MB in size.

After trying it, the mod needs a little bit more improvement. It takes way too long for your ship to speed up quickly enough in order to make it anywhere unless you like waiting thirty minutes or more to get somewhere.
5:18, you probably found out about it at this stage, but for those who are still confused about the door variants. It has nothing to do with which side (port/stbd, fore/aft) of the ship you're placing the doors on. It basically tells you which side the door will have an extra space within it and which side the door opens to. The rule is "the opposite". For example, if you use Doors Stbd, it basically means a door that has an extra gap on the starboard side, and the door opens to the port side. Same with Doors Fore, that means the door that the soft foam side is facing forward and the door opens to the aft side. Jealousie is like a folding door that folds from the middle to the side, the side stbd or port indicates the same thing. Which side has the extra gap, so the actual folding door is on the opposite side of it. Jealousie Port means the extra gap is on the port side, so the folding door is on the starboard side. When placing Window, Jealousie isn't the right module to use. It should just be Passageway, this creates an open passage on either side and you can place the porthole to make a window. The only way to use Jealousie on a porthole window the right way is if you want a kind of a "curtain" effect. Where you open the curtain to see the window behind it, and you can close it again. But for this it should not be the opposite. Placing it on the port side of the hab requires the port side jealousie. This means the gap would be placed on the port side, making the folding curtain door to be on the starboard side. The reason why it works in your video by using the opposite is because the folding door side overlaps with the porthole window, so the game didn't render the folding door and making it into a window. But this is not the right way to use it. For me, I always use the door opposite to the side it's placed on. Port side of the ship I always use starboard doors, and starboard side of the ship I use port side. This gives me a uniform direction that the doors in the ship always opens to the "outside" relative to the ship's center line. It also helps me to place doors properly on what is considered "going into" a hab, versus "going out" from a hab, and the door direction placements can help out with this type of placements. Understanding the variants and how they behave in the ship with this mod would allow you to make the right design decisions and proper traffic flow and aesthetic of the ship interior. But the drawback is the mod increases the number of modules you're adding to your ship. And if you're trying to make a large cruiser like I do, we need another mod that increases the module number limit.

If i hear ‘starborn door’ instead of STARBOARD door, im gonna lose my mind😂🤣😂. Love your videos though buddy. Found some unbelievably awesome mods thanks to you. But ‘Place your own doors’ mod is an absolute game changer. Can finally have ship layouts exactly how i want them. The only issue i found with it is when using Matilija’s ship parts (can’t remember the correct name of the mod) and using the ‘Luxury habs’, if you don’t have a doorway, it bugs out and creates a void door from the luxury hab side. It causes you to fall through if you don’t walk through the "doorway" fast enough. But from the other connected hab there is no doorway 🤷🏻♂️. Anyhooo, great video again bud.

@@SiNKiLLeR_ I sure it will be since I know how to get rid of the errors now. All I saw was 8 errors as soon as I opened the Starborn ship builder and so I thought it was broken.
Sweet hopefully it works. Can be a bit of trailer and error to get rid of some of the errors still but should get there it might just take to attempts like it did for me.
Another great mod that is needed is one that would allow you to just click on a ship’s ladder and instantly travel to the floor that you are trying to ascend to (instead of manually climbing the ladder the tedious current default way)? Imagine that if such a mod was available there might not be a need for ship stairs as much, except for maybe appearance’s sake and decor.
Props to the modder for the sublight engine boost mod, however, after trying it. I do think there is one big aspect that they should revisit, and it's the speed. It takes the ship's far too long to get up to a proper speed to reach the planets and moons. You end up waiting twenty minutes or more just for the ship to finally speed up. It is way to slow.
Not a bad suggestions. It would be cool to see two versions of the mod to include your suggestion. To make it possible. I wonder though how the controls would feel reaching insane speed really fast.
The cloaking one does work on Xbox. I used it though it’s a little disorienting when in first person so I removed it. But you don’t need to manually add it on Xbox as long as you have 1 skill point. Note: I play on Xbox cloud play on my pc and iPad.
How can you play Starfield on your iPad using the Cloud? Would you be able to play your same character that you are already playing on your XBOX series X?
Hey, thx for your videos. A short question: What is the difference between IMPROVED Sublight Engine Boost and astrogate? Looks like they both do more or less the same thing?
I haven't followed the updates on these mods but your correct they basically aim to do the same thing. Astrogate offers more functionality when I looked at them.
I wonder why some genius modder hasn’t produced a mod with the algorithm built in to sync your downloaded mods in the correct order automatically to prevent order load issues. I certainly believe that this would be the most sought after mod in the Creations Store! Heck Bethesda should implement that feature with the Store or even produce a mod in-house to address this wrecking issue. This is all that this major load order fiasco needs!!

A mod I'm using is called Ship Extension. Adds two stroude habs that have stairs, a 1x1 and a 3x1 hab. I've found this mod stops random ladders in the shop!
That mod looks really good. I went to cover it twice but had some issues but planing to cover it. Thanks for bringing it up and reminding me. Stopping random ladders is a huge win.

Love you work and have started watching daily. A favor, could you put a label somewhere that has the mod's name and keep it in the corner of the screen or whatever? That would help out a lot.
Instead of just disabling mods, have you tried just messing around with the load order? I saw another video that was using both the better flips mod and the better snaps mod together, along with a couple other ship building mods, and they showed their load order and they were able to use them together just fine.
Thanks for your suggestions. I think my issue was another mod that altered snaps and flips was conflicting. Ill do some testing but my guess that what it was over the other ship mods. Thanks for letting me know.
The HOLE option is way more interesting on the Place Doors Yourself, why does anyone need a ladder in the way, I just jump up and down through the hole anyway... So I am assuming that you dont need ANY LADDERS, just put holes?
I wish that some intrepid modder would endeavor to produce a mod that allows you to easily place the outpost beacon inside POI boundaries! That jerry-rig trick of trying to slide the beacon inside the boundary doesn’t work for me on the Xbox. Sure there already exists a mod that you can build anywhere, but without that actual beacon being placed where you build you cannot land your ship on that buildable location or fast travel to it on land.
I dont think there are just yet. There are a combination of different mods that break some of the building restrictions but nothing to crazy yet. Not like on pc.

That would be game changing. I hope class M habs get filled but can you imagine how crazy big and long it would take to walk around one. Maybe the habs could have the ceilings double the height or 3x. Then we could have hangers .

@@SiNKiLLeR_ no unfortunately I’m on Xbox for the time being. However the mod essentially made it to where any ship object to include habs and even M-class parts could all phase into each other provided there was a snapping point that was unused

… but there is a mod in Creations called 18 Weapons that at least makes each weapon type only cost 2 ship power - therefore allowing you to have a total of 18 individual weapons total (6 per category) placed on your ship.
Heya, if you have built your ship and can save the game. Just remove the limit mod if you think thats the reseaon. Your ship will still be there. Need more info on what's happening but doesn't sound like an issue with the ship limit mods. But hard to tell.
TN's Class M (and Starborn Guardian) Ship Building is a better option tho isn't it? There is also M-Class Unlocked v2 that still looks supported? Remember below To update to this mod, please delete M-Class Unlocked, FORCE CLOSE / REBOOT your game, redownload, and REBOOT your game once again. This is due to the new ini file I have made changes to, and these won’t take effect until the game has been fully restarted!!
Unless I miss read the description, it said that it’s not supported, and to check out tns m class mod, in some ways it is,, for example, the station fuel tanks are actually fuel tanks, and m class parts are listed as m class parts, I hope I read it wrong, because that mod author said that he is working on removing the ship building limitations

What we need is a mod that adds nonfunctioning dockers as structures. I can't make a proper rebel blockade runner without them.

@@parzivalioi3166 what you have to ask yourself is why is there restrictions in the first place.lol its like a safe zone from crashes.if you take that away you are then prone to more crashes.i dont remember the name sorry,i was just looking through real quick at mods.ive had the game since it came out but ship building was so annoying i left it,but with the right mods i was going to have a look.the one i was looking for unlocks all ship parts.i found one simular all in one ship building.the stupid thing is it s up to download but when you download it and it does go in the load order .......it ssays cant be used......wtf.......so why is it even up for ppl to download. this was from T&G mod.
I wish they could just copy the already in game class m with interiors and let us buy them and mod the weapons.
That would be game changing. I hope class M habs get filled but can you imagine how crazy big and long it would take to walk around one. Maybe the habs could have the ceilings double the height or 3x. Then we could have hangers .
Maybe one of you all can help me out. the other day I watched a video that showed a mod that allows you to build on top of the outpost shipbuilder. I can now not find the video anymore.

I’m sorry y’all very off topic but my LO was wiped when I was forced to delete the game, I know for a fact that there’s a mod that lets me phase ship parts into one another but I can’t for the life of me find it, anyone know what it’s called?
Are you on pc ? I dont know if the tweaks on xbox are as extreme as the pc versions. Not yet anyway.
@@SiNKiLLeR_ no unfortunately I’m on Xbox for the time being. However the mod essentially made it to where any ship object to include habs and even M-class parts could all phase into each other provided there was a snapping point that was unused

@@SiNKiLLeR_ Mod Organizer 2. Tell me, do You also have or had a problem with infinite save loading? When I start it, it loads normally, but when I want to reload the save, this problem occurs.
It constantly happens all the time. As soon as the load takes more then a few seconds I'll restart the game and load in fine.
is there a mod that give unlimited weapons for a ship?
Not yet unfortunately not on xbox
… but there is a mod in Creations called 18 Weapons that at least makes each weapon type only cost 2 ship power - therefore allowing you to have a total of 18 individual weapons total (6 per category) placed on your ship.
And for some reason everytime I get a mod that increases ship limit, it glitches out, ships get stuck in a infinite loading loop
Which mod are you using for the larger ship limit?

I get the loading loop on Outpost
There are two, one that gives you 150 ships, and one that gives you 200
Heya, if you have built your ship and can save the game. Just remove the limit mod if you think thats the reseaon. Your ship will still be there.
Need more info on what's happening but doesn't sound like an issue with the ship limit mods. But hard to tell.
The m class unlocked v2 is no longer supported 😔
TN's Class M (and Starborn Guardian) Ship Building is a better option tho isn't it? There is also M-Class Unlocked v2 that still looks supported?

Unless I miss read the description, it said that it’s not supported, and to check out tns m class mod, in some ways it is,, for example, the station fuel tanks are actually fuel tanks, and m class parts are listed as m class parts, I hope I read it wrong, because that mod author said that he is working on removing the ship building limitations
