Amen. Importante message. If I may add, we should keep in mind that hell is more an event than a place. Hell will come to be after the millennium and will thereafter cease to exist. Therefore, it’s not so much a place as it is an event. Blessings!

Amen. The Bible does not say "ALL will be Saved" or "Most will be Chosen". It says very few will be, and even in those numbers if it wasn't for God, they would be deceived. It's not only NON-Biblical to believe ALL will be given Salvation, it's not even logical based on Revelation.

Amen, Brother Virgil. Also, there are some preaching the false doctrine of Annihilation. That the sinners will not suffer after death and judgement, and will be vanished forever! Very dangerous!

I've never understood why a professing Christian would teach annihilation. Why would there be any fear of death if there is no judgment? Why would anyone bother getting saved, if there's nothing from which to be saved?

@@Yesica1993 Yes. It makes me wonder if they are truly saved. I believe these people think that they can love God and the world and continue to live in sin without eternal punishment. In the hope of getting into heaven, they are betting at judgement day that God will be merciful and either let them live eternally with him or without him unconsciously separated and gone forever. Of course, this is not biblical and man made version of God. These false teachers forget that not only God is love, He is also just.

Most of those verses are about believers who are not found worthy to inherit the KOH/KOG and are cast into outer darkness for the 1K years of the Millennium outside the kingdom. We are to seek and pray to be counted as worthy attend the marriage supper of the lamb, to stand before the Son of Man, to enter the kingdom. Life is defined as serving Christ in a glorified body during the Millennium. Christ we referring to Gehenna, not eternal lake of fire.

You can't understand verse 20 in Colossians without verse 19. Your quotes verse in 2 Corinthians says something similar. We are reconciled to God THROUGH Christ. Jesus tells us how to come to him so we can be reconciled. Colossians 1:19-20 (NRSV): For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, 20 and through him God was pleased to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, by making peace through the blood of his cross.

Not all who adhere to universalism believe that all roads lead to Rome. There is a biblical understanding of universalism. In other words, “All” will eventually come to God “through” Christ’s finished work. God does “All” that he wills and he wills “All” to be saved. His plan to save the world through his son cannot be thwarted.
    Peace

    I am a Universal Reconciliationist
    1.
I believe everyone does indeed have to confess and believe and put their faith in Jesus.
    I believe they all will
    Revelation 5
13 And I heard every created thing which is in heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, or on the sea, and all the things in them, saying,
“To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion forever and ever.”
14 And the four living creatures were saying, “Amen.” And the elders fell down and worshiped.
    Psalm 22
29 All the fattened ones of the earth will eat and worship,
All those who go down to the dust will kneel before Him,
Even he who cannot keep his soul alive.
    Philippians 2
10 at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
    2.
I want to read the Bible and be with my Creator because that is what we are created for. When I am with Jesus I am fulfilled inside I am living a purpose driven life. In the bible you won’t find people evangelising for a negative reason.
    1 Timothy 4:9-11
9 It is a trustworthy statement deserving full acceptance. 10 For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have set our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all mankind, especially of believers.
11 Prescribe and teach these things
We evangelise because of our hope in God. Not because of a killer god.
    Colossians 1:28-29
28 We proclaim Him, admonishing every person and teaching every person with all wisdom, so that we may present every person complete in Christ. 29 For this purpose I also labor, striving according to His power which works mightily within me
We evangelise so we can present complete people at resurrection
    3.
We want to save people from the consequences of their evil deeds.
We believe everyone will be repaid according to their deeds.
    Even Christians
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive in the body his due for things done whether good or bad.
    1 Corinthians 3
11 For no one can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, 13 each one’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test [e]the quality of each one’s work. 14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet only so as through fire.
16 Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy that person; for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.
Hebrews 10: 26 If we deliberately go on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no further sacrifice for sins remains, 27but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume all adversaries.
James 3: 1Do not become teachers in large numbers, my brothers, since you know that we who are teachers will incur a stricter judgment
James 5: 12But above all, my brothers and sisters, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath; but [l]your yes is to be yes, and your no, no, so that you do not fall under judgment.
Revelation 2: 20But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond-servants astray so that they commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21I gave her time to repent, and she does not want to repent of her sexual immorality. 22Behold, I will throw her on a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds. 23And I will kill her children with plague, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.
Revelation 3: 15‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. 16So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17Because you say, “I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have no need of anything,” and you do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked, 18I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to apply to your eyes so that you may see. 19Those whom I love, I rebuke and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent.
    4.
    There is a hell
    There is punishment for deeds
Punishment that never ends means that justice is never satisfied and is therefore not justice.
    5.
My motivation is for you to know a God who is going to bring all he has created back to himself, rather than burn people alive in fire without end.
    Ephesians 1
9 The secret of His will, according to His good pleasure, that He purposed in Himself,
    10 in regard to the dispensation of the fulness of the times, IS TO BRING INTO ONE THE WHOLE IN THE CHRIST, both the things in the heavens, and the things upon the earth -- in him;
    Colossians 1
16 because in him were the ALL things created, those in the heavens, and those upon the earth, those visible, and those invisible, whether thrones, whether lordships, whether principalities, whether authorities; ALL things through him, and FOR HIM , have been created,
17 and himself is before ALL, and the ALL things in him have consisted.
18 And himself is the head of the body -- the assembly -- who is a beginning, a first-born out of the dead, that he might become in ALL [things] -- himself -- first,
19 because in him it did please ALL the fulness to Dwell
20 AND THROUGH HIM TO RECONCILE ALL THINGS TO HIMSELF -- HAVING MADE PEACE THROUGH THE BLOOD OF THE CROSS, whether the things upon the earth, whether the things in the heavens.
    Rom 8
19 the creation eagerly waits for the revelation of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility-not willingly but because of God who subjected it-in expectation 21 that the CREATION ITSELF WILL ALSO BE SET FREE from the bondage of decay into the glorious freedom of God’s children. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers together until now.
    Rom 11:36
because of Him, and through Him, and TO HIM [are] the ALL things; to Him [is] the glory -- to the ages. Amen.
    1 Corinthians 15
28And when all things have been subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will be made subject to Him who put all things under Him, so that God may be ALL in ALL.
My motivation is to bring you so close to Jesus that you won’t be harmed in your transition to the new creation.
    6.
I don’t know who these people you’ve been talking to are. I don’t agree with what you say they say.
    7.
Universal Reconciliation is not a new sect.
It predates the idea of never ending torment that the majority of the church currently holds

A *calvinist* approaching a person to preach his "gospel":
"Hi! I don't know if God loves you, the most probable thing is that He hates you. I also don't know if He died for you in the cross, only a very few were chosen, but I’ll tell you a beautiful story. Listen!"
We need urgently to bring back the *powerful, simple* and *true gospel* summarized in *John 3:16.*

Yeah, except that’s not how we preach the gospel. When people say that, they have a poor understanding of what what reformed soteriology actually teaches.
We don’t know who is actually elect. All we know is, we’re called to be obedient and share the gospel.
We call all mankind everywhere to repent and believe in the gospel. The gospel invitation is open to everyone. But not everyone will be saved. We just be faithful and preach gospel knowing that God will have compassion on whom He has compassion will have mercy, and whom He has mercy.

I believe in universal reconciliation because Bible says so in colossians 1:20 and 2 cor 5:19. But to the calvinist: the video is entitled "The dangers of universalism": dangerous to whom, if the entire population of heaven and hell were set immutably in eternity past?

    • @PennySmart
      @PennySmart 2 місяці тому +2

You are misinterpreting scriptures and you know it. Why would Jesus speak of hell so many times and the whole Bible of the Elect, if universalism was true?

    • @williammarinelli2363
      @williammarinelli2363 2 місяці тому

@@PennySmart First Question: Jesus spoke of hell because when one is born into the world, hell is a possibility. Heaven is a possibility. In Jesus' mind, the destiny of the soul is "in play" when He says, "Enter ye in at the straight gate." In Jesus' mind, there are those who would be in the kingdom of God, to whom He refers to as "entering in" that wind up outside of the kingdom as a result of the pharisees' teaching, influence, and the response.
Second question: Where did you get the idea that I communicated universalism is true? I said universal reconciliation is true, it's Biblical, it's all encompassing. When Jesus says, "all sins shall be forgiven unto the children of men" he is not saying, "all are saved." Forgiveness of sin, which is universal, is a component of the salvation of the soul but it is not a synonym to the salvation of the soul.
When I start a sentence with "If", please try not to read what follows the "if" as an indicative proposition of something I believe must be so. "If" is an exploratory world into the hypothetical. And when Paul, in Romans 9, begins a sentence with "What if," then also consider that follows may be a contrary-to-fact imperfect subjunctive, answered in conditional mood, in the interest of the making of a larger point.
