A very dear friend fought a 20year battle with cancer. This April, she went in for yet another hospital stay, we wondered if this may be her final battle. The next morning as I was listening to The Holy Hills of Heaven Call Me, I learned of her entrance into the holy hills of heaven ... this song gave such eternal hope... thank you... we have been through so much grief personally... and this grief could have broken us, but for the eternal hope we have in Jesus Christ!

Listen closely... you can still hear Vestal. My granddaddy was a phenomenal bass singer, and I can still hear him every time we sing “A Beautiful Life” at church.
Everyone be honest; every time you hear Kim sing the ending of that song, how many can hear Dottie Rambo sing the last line? I can every SINGLE time!

It's 2022 and this song still stands out still relevant even more now because we are nearer home to meet our love ones It's now 27yrs I lost my mom to cancer but cancer can never locate her or anyone else sickness and death will be soon be no more for the saints of ...we will stare death in the face and ask oh death where is thy sting ...HALLELUJAH I look foward for this day when Christ this same Jesus that we read about in Acts chp I v 11 that did go up after his earthly task ended shall return this time to claim his own what joy it will be for the Saved one when we gather together...OH Glory to God

One of my favorite songs by Dottie Rambo . Dottie was killed just a short ways from my house and when I heard the accident and then heard who was involved it broke my heart. RIP Ms. Dottie.
I was at a Gaither concert in Saint John, New Brunswick a few days before Dottie died. Bill said that he had to leave early to go to Dottie's homegoing service
The Gaither meetings are great. Bringing all of this talent together is good for listeners!..

Amazing! All of those beautiful voices coming together to bask in God's radiance, and to show us that a Christian America that used to be...still is. I'd never even heard of Dottie Rambo until a few days ago, and had little interest in this type of music, but now the doors have been opened. It brought tears to my eyes.

I wrote The Holy Hills Are Calling Me. My grandmother Marie Redenbaker was diagnosed with Ahlzheimers just two years before her passing. She was the sister of Vestal Goodman and I liked the version Vestal sang. It upsets 😡 me that Kim Hopper changed the words of the chorus From the throne KING JESUS beckons were the original words!! Look at the version sung by Vestal and you will see!
Dottie Rambo wrote this song. You have some nerve to get here, making false claims. So what if Kim Hopper changed words. Most artist sing the song as arranged for them.
