Heimdall is in my ”dirty dozen” of games that made me buy an Amiga. I haven’t played them all , but I did play Heimdall 2 , Skeleton crew , Premiere , Darkmere and Dragonstone. Brilliant games , everyone of them.
I played banshee and jaguar doubles with my brother...what good memories it has brought us... Core towards magic...good intros, music, gameplay...originality...
I've always enjoyed Thunderhawk, the music, the intro, the game... everything... it's the perfect summary of Core, they did everything well. By the way, if you liked Rick Dangerous, they are making the AGA version... in the new games section on this channel, you can see it... :-)
They were located on Ashbourne Road, Derby, me and friends used to sneak into their grounds and go through the bins. Used to see scrapped designs for potential games in the bin etc! Great days :)
La verdad es que tocaron todos los palos y tienen grandes juegos en amiga mi favorito quizás es el wolfchild aunque el impossamole le di mucha caña pero era la leche de dificil
Loved jaguar xj220 back than.İmpressed with bubba and stix shows how powerfull amiga AGA system.if only we had doom maybe amiga could still be here who knows.
Rick Dangerous - I loved this game, but I hated that you had to start over from the beginning when you lost all your lives on level 2. I never had the ambition to go all the way through Level 1 again, just to get back to the part where I died. Torvak the Warrior - I had a friend who had both an NES and a Turbografx-16. He'd completed several games on both systems, including The Legendary Axe. I gave him a copy of Torvak and told him that it was a lot like Legendary Axe. I told him that there was a hidden cheat (I forget now how I knew about it), but that he should try playing the game normally first. He called me shortly after he got home, practically begging me to tell him the cheat, as the game was too hard for him. Not that I've gotten very far in it myself...
Wolfchild is one of my favorites. I finished it lately with the help of savestates on a Raspberry Pi. Otherwise there is no chance for me to make it to the end. Yes i cheated but it was fun😂
Wolfchild is also one of my favorite games. For me it is difficult and frustrating because I can't even get to the middle of the game... For me the most important thing is not to finish the game with or without cheats but rather to enjoy it as much as possible :-)
Core and Gremlins were my 2 favorite publishers on the Amiga back in the days. Ocean was 3rd, which had good arcade port from their french division but the rest was meh...
When you put it all together like that it puts into perspective how strong Core's presence was on the Amiga.

I just finished Banshee for the Lemon Amiga Competition, it's an incredible game. Wonderful.

Thunderhawk & Rick Dangerous 1 & 2 are 3 of my top 10 games of all time! Thanks for the memories.

Fantastic coverage of all the games. Has to be my favourite publisher on the Amiga.

Of course, Bubba'n'Stix is an absolute gem of a game in my opinion.
I finished Wolfchild recently too, quite a good game.
A ese Darkmere que viciadas me pegué. Y el Wolfchild, sublime. ¡¡Grande CORE!
la verdad es que cuidaban bien todos los detallles del juego: buenas intros, la musica, jugabilidad, originalidad...
Wish I could upvote this video twice 🙂
Many good games.
And then came their most famous one : Tomb Raider.

totalmente de acuerdo. La presentacion y juego de wolfchild junto Heimdall es de mis preferidos
Amazing, besides Chuck Rock & Rick Dangerous I know very few of these, yet they look amazing! Must’ve mostly been releases late in the amigas life.
So many games. Chuck rock all the way for me.
the intro, music, gameplay and originality... what more could you ask for? ☺️
@@Harkonnen75 the music really stands out.
