Terry, thank you for your generous shoutout! You are a superstar in this hobby! Floyd Little was certainly a great player in college and professional football. It’s really a lot of fun to relive the stories of these great AFL players through your videos. Thank you for sharing your passion and knowledge with us!

Hi Rick, thanks so much for being a positive example in the hobby for all of us. Your approach to collecting resonates with many of us.
I am enjoying this AFL series. I have learned so much beyond what I have shown in the videos. There are some beautiful cards too.
Have a great rest of the weekend.

Nice shoutout to Rick, Terry. He's got a great collection and a great channel. What a thoughtful gift on his part of the '87 Garvey. I love his custom card as well! Great info on Floyd Little. I love that '68 card. It looks good next to the Jackson and Haynes cards.

Thanks Gannon! I was happy to recognize Rick. He is a good man with a refreshing approach to the hobby.
I didn’t realize all he did for the Broncos franchise and community. A much bigger impact than just being a Pro Bowl running back. 68 Topps football has a striking design. I like the backs too.

Great episode Terry! I love this series! Floyd Little made me a fan of the Broncos in the Seventies as my beloved Packers started their long 20-year decline. My other surrogate 70s teams were the Raiders with Stabler/Shell/Biletnicoff/Branch & Madden & the Chargers to a lesser degree due to Dan Fouts. Little was an exciting & talented running back to watch & your story of his good works behind the scenes as a team player validates my good memories of him. I’ve been attempting to get his 68 rookie card but so far, he has slipped my grasp but they’ll always be another down. 😉

I knew about Floyd Little the player but not his contribution to football outside of playing. There were some historic teams in the 70s with the Raiders being one of them. Best of luck getting the 68. It’s a nice looking card. I picked up mine a couple of months ago. Have a great rest of the weekend.

Howdy Terry. Neat tribute to Rocket Rick. He really is a very nice man. His UA-cam card is awesome. Also, nice tribute to Floyd Little. He was a great talent and a hall of famer, but he does not get enough hobby love. Nor does he get enough attention by football historians. Probably because he played in Denver. I remember him from when I was a kid. He was a big time talent back in the 70s, but his football legacy has unfortunately faded over time. I really enjoy your AFL case build episodes. I hope you have a nice weekend Terry.

Floyd Little was another of those great running backs in the late 60s to early 70s that more people should know about!
I was not aware of the Broncos almost moving to Birmingham and the role Little had in keeping them in Denver.
All of the cards I own of his are from my childhood and a bit worn, thinking I need an upgrade for the collection. Love the 68 and 71 cards you shared!

Hi Terry! First of all, RocketRick is one of my favorites. He has a collection (like yours) that I am definitely envious of. On top of that he's a good guy that just gave you a Steve Garvey card! hahaha
Floyd Little, I had a card of his once. He was small but he was good. In the early 70's, he was definitely their best player. I had his 1972 card. I had no idea that he was recruited by General Douglas MacArthur. How could you say no to that man??? I also had no idea the Broncos almost moved to Birmingham. I've always liked the Broncos. Can't imagine them somewhere else. Can you imagine a NFL player knowing on your door trying to sell you tickets?
Did you ever see the movie, "The Express"? Great movie regarding Ernie Davis. I seem to remember someone portraying Floyd Little was featured near the end. Thanks so much for bringing up Floyd Little. Have a good week, Terry!

Thanks Rick! Well, you have an awesome collection. I enjoy your approach to the hobby. It is one based on nostalgia, history and meaning. To me, the best qualities in assembling a vintage collection.
I knew of his exploits on the field but very little of what he accomplished off of it. Yeah, that had to be flattering to have one of the greatest generals in world history recruiting you.
I did see the movie "The Express" and Floyd Little is in it. The man that played Jackie Robinson in "42" played him. I am glad you enjoyed learning more about Floyd Little. I wasn't sure I was going to include him in this story until I began researching just how important he was to the Denver franchise.
      Take care

I wish one of the St. Louis Rams would have gone door to door to save the team. What an amazing individual to do that. Sounds like his life outside of football was as impactful as his life with football.
Both cards of Little you shared were beautiful cards. The ‘68 just pops and I love the ‘71 design.
