Hi Onesto, Can you use VocalSynth to remove nasal tone from a voiceover recording ? And also make it look like the voice isn't coming from a cardboard box.?
@@GiggleByteGuy Good question. To clean up and shape the tone of a voiceover I would look into Nectar from iZotope. It's a plugin that's specializes in vocal clean up and enhancement. Vocalsynth is a vocal effects plugin, and there's not really an EQ on there to shape the tone in the way you're describing.
I got you. Ironically, I want people to watch my videos as little as possible. I'd rather they get back to creating, so I always try to keep things lean.
If I have a few repeated bars of a C and C6 chord do you recommend playing different inversions to vary the effect too ? Thanks.Am still looking at options outside of Logic's own.
Hey thanks for the demo! Good stuff.. I'm using the demo version. do you think that's why even when I choose the Barbers preset, that my pitch and voicing parts of the ui are disabled? i'm in auto mode.. is there somethign i'm missing on how to get those ui elements enabled?
Another vocal plugin doing not what I need :) I search for Cher FX - as we remember it from millenium times - or from song Blue by Eiffel 65. There was one which is unfortunately not in production anymore and all the other ones are half way - all producers focused on a natural sound but no one offers that old bold robotic autotune - it’s always half way. Would you recommend something? Thank you!
Great question! For the effect you're looking for, Vocalsynth is not it. The plugin I would check out is Antares Auto Tune. You're able to really crank up the auto-tune effect. It's pricey, but right now there's a Black Friday sale that you can check out. I also think there's a demo that you can test out. Hope this is the plugin you're looking for!
It's been a while since I watched one of your videos. I think you used to be on FL. I hear great things about Bitwig, but it would be hard for me to leave Ableton at this point
Yeah I remember you commenting back a while ago! I never been an FL user. I pretty much exclusively used Bitwig Studio. It's very similar to Ableton, so give it a shot if you ever get a chance. I think Bitwig is great for producers who love to tinker and experiment.
woah I don't know, maybe?!? What's the title of the video and timestamp? Try not to put a link in your response, UA-cam blocks comments with links, cuz spam.
Upon further investigation…. It was a homie called Finesto 😂😂😂 Still subbed, even before I thought it was you lol… love what you’re doing on your channel. I’m hoping to get back into making more videos and music myself, and you are one of the ones that went into that inspiration. Keep it up dude!
@@chrisricetopher21 that's amazing! I love that you're thinking of getting back into music. I'm definitely holding onto this comment, thanks for the sub and support!
Oh dang, I totally forgot about Plogue. I wanted to get their Chipspeech plugin during Black Friday and now I’m afraid I’m too late! Thanks for getting them back on my radar. You’re right, Alter Ego is awesome.
I originally chose it in 2017 because I wanted something very similar to Ableton, but at the same time try out a DAW that was new to the scene. I stuck with Bitwig because I love the workflow (very similar to Ableton), it's really stable, the stock plugins are solid, and I really appreciate how nerdy you can get with it. It's really easy to design your own plugins. I think what holds it back is simply the fact that there are so many great DAWs with dedicated users. It's hard to get someone to switch DAWs. I definitely recommend it to all my friends though
Hey Onesto I sent you an email detailing a question about this video and a DM on instagram would love some more details about a part of your video, thanks brother!

Would ove to try this, but seems like the free trial is over now? Thanks for the comprehensive run through BTW!
Brother you're a G, straight into the topic and no bullshitting around, thanks for this

Love from South Korea, from a Bitwig & VocalSynth lover🔥 Gate knob was a mistery until i watched this video.
Another Bitwig user! Nice! Great to meet you. Yeah that gate knob is really useful. Hopefully you can get cleaner results with it!
Thanks!!! Helped a lot!!!!
You're welcome, thanks for watching!
good lord this thing is powerful! thx for these amazing tips!!!
It really is. It's still one of my favorite plugins after all these years.
I had no idea I had bought something with so much potential..
Indeed you did. Vocalsynth is always surprising me in the best ways. Thanks for watching!

Yes, in MIDI mode that's exactly the case. Playing different variations will get you different melodic textures.

Commenting for the algorithm.
