Dave, thanks for the video. You mentioned using heavy sinkers in the current. What weight range do you generally fish with. Obviously current strength will determine it. Nige from Sydney
Great vid again Dave and once again some great tips which is what i appreciate about your vids, ive been struggling at times to hold anchor in current because ill get there on the slack change of tides, anchor and as the current picks up my anchor doesn't hold but your reverse tip was the tip i needed thank you mate. Couple of nice jewie caught too, love your work Dave 👌
@@MulletJump 3rd pier across usually I think 😜 Not this time tho lol Must of been someone sitting in Dave’s main spot..That’s why he chuck the fish out on that side to show he had caught one 😝
😂😂😂 May be some body was right in my spot 😜 But in doesn’t really matter we’re you anchor in that spot. What matters if your are competing against 50 other live baits out. If there are more than 6 boats I’ll go somewhere else 😂😂
Absolute, legendary content Dave!! Some cracking fish as well! I’d love to fish that waterway one day - not too far from lake Mac but haven’t been game enough to do it by myself! 😂 keep up the awesome videos!
Modified Quintrex Dory 420 gunnels welded in bench seats taken out floor and floatation put in rods holders all over the place 😂😂 Garmin Echo map 95 40 Yamaha tiller steer she goes good 👍
Yer mate that's the reason I only fish of a night time into the morning. So people don't see the fish I catch. Man you can tell them about the fish you catch, but if they actually see them a light switches on 👍

I use 8 ounce snapper leads for live baiting and size 6 or 7 ball
Sinkers if I’m using a slab of yellow tail for big bream and smaller Jewfish
Enjoyed the video mate 🙂A tough outing, 3 nice jews on a cold night, is not too shabby 👍 Cheers.
Thanks Trevor I’ll take 3 Jewfish every day of the week, even one to get you off the donut 😂😂

🙏🙏 Thanks Chris make sure you let out enough rope when you are anchoring so the anchor and chain lays flat at least 3 times the depth of water
@@aussfish9995 ok that makes sense so the angle of the anchor rope is not to steep and anchor lays flatter. Thanks Dave I appreciate you🙏🙏
@chriskaufman8103 Exactly 👍
Nice 105 Dave👍shame that you didn't get the fight on camera, but we all seem to have camera issues at the wrong time😒
😂😂 Disappointing
Another great episode mate. I get the same talking into the camera when there are other people around haha it’s a weird feeling
Yeah, your a natural on camera mate plenty of good energy a great vibe going on 👊👊
@@aussfish9995 cheers bro, I just need to catch more fish 😂 we’ll have to do a live bait Jew session one day 🤘🏽
@slappintails You going okay keep it going 👊
Good old Stockton Bridge always produces the goods😜
Don’t give away the secret spots
I’m sure everyone knows! (No secret after so many videos sitting in the same spot) 🤣
@@SandbankRunneryou give away the not so secret spot 😂😂😂

m8 ur always cleaning up on the jewies. do u get many jew of newcastle wall. caught plenty at stocko. keen 2 know if worth fishen for. cheers m8
Yeah you get them off the breakwater all over the harbour on the Beach
Cracking fish, what do you suspect draws them under that bridge?
Structure they can sit there out of the current simple shit when it comes to fishing.
A decent leccy motor and a 100 amp hour lithium battery and you’ll be able to spot lock for 12 hrs and do away with the anchor
The dream 😂😂👍
What boat is it? Seems really nice and stable for its size
