  • 34 mile hike from Frodsham to Whitchurch, The Sandstone Trail is Cheshire's backbone and follows the geology around the Cheshire Plain. From Iron Age Hill Forts to Medieval Castles, canals and Forest. We visit Mad Allen's Cave, the original English Hermit and avoid the crowds in Delamere Forest. One our favourite National Trails so far.
