I've just watched this for the 2nd time... Absolutely LOVE a Carved Holster! My Dad had an HH Heiser Carved Holster for a Single Action Army that I used to Oil and Admire! I personally would like to see the "Basket Stamp" process for holsters as well ';-) Thanks and enjoying my Andrews Monarch Rig for Glock 19/23!
Great video! It seems to me that after you've tooled leather for a pancake style holster then mold the leather to the gun in the press the carving will get compromised. Do you tool pancake holsters? How do you prevent damaging the carving?

Why would you buy an off the shelf holster when you can have something like this. I purchased one and it is a fantastic product.
Who is the master carver in asheville? I live here and would love to find him, I've been tooling for a few months and could use the direction
