    The talent in just your eyesight, let alone your fingers. Is so precise in the pressure that is placed while handling your tools. Like a violinist that plays each note and builds on the tone as well as the softness.

    A fantastic job!! I was taught to never dye before carving and tooling bc the grain won’t pick up the impressions nicely. Your belt seemed to take the impression very well, so that was a pleasant surprise. I appreciate you sharing your work, I got to learn a thing or two for sure. I’ll definitely watch more of your videos.

    • @wm17959
      @wm17959  2 місяці тому +1

      I appreciate the compliment, thank you. It's true that the leather doesn't stamp as well if you put the dye on first, but I'm using the alcohol based dye, which is a little harder to work with than the oil based. I find it's hard to get good results if I put it on after, but one way to get around that would be to use an airbrush. I've seen people using airbrush to put on the dye and the results are very nice.

I’m nowhere near your level of abilities, but it’s inspiring for me to see what master craftsmen create. Gorgeous work without commentary. Personally, I can’t talk about what I’m doing while I’m doing my leatherwork, so I would have to film in a similar manner. Too many concussions. Lol. The music choices & everything was superb.
