Hi Bill, I see the área that you live in on the map. I am considering renting a furnished apartment just south of you a bit. According to Google maps it appears to be a decent area with good and near access to good grocery stores, restaurants, etc. I would appreciate your comments. I plan on getting around primarily on foot and use of green bus up and down the Malecon. Your thoughts ? Also pricing and pickup/drop-off location in the area of where you live. Are you able to buy a weekly bus pass rather than pay separately each time ? Thanks Bill, LC
Hi LC, If you are just a little south of me, then you should be fine on foot for most of what you want and you can have a great time. I really enjoy where I live. I am very suprised. Buses are very cheap. I think to get on the bus is going to cost you about forty cents. I don't think they have bus passes,, but for forty cents, who cares? If you want to go into Centro, you can always use Uber, I do that all of the time, that will cost about 5 dollars US one way. That's still not bad at all. I hope that helps a bit. Best, Bill
