Come to think of it... This song does describe the psychos like him. Unable to fill that emotional void they feel since birth. Who wish for love but on a twisted form, since the normal one doesn't satisfy due to its rules of equality, and since they only see the worst in people, making them believe that true love is only an excuse to keep our inner animals caged in. And when they find it... Well, let's just say they have to work a little on their models before they are ready to be part of the relationship.
Ogre was kinda my inspiration for an OC villain for a fanfic surrounding an anime called "AICO: Incarnation". She's an albine and an insane transhumanist scientist who almost killed the protagonist when she was a child, for identifying herself too much with the young girl (she had been invited for a dinner over, providing a good oportunity). But she suddenly changed her mind, and decided instead to perform a radical experiment on the girl. Kinda like how the Ogre changed his mind about killing Barbara, and pulled her into his world.

Still trying to figure out what mental illness she should have though, since one of the character's points is since she couldn't feel love in the traditional sense, questionable alternatives had to be found for her to experience something similar to it. Psychopath is a no go, because they're pretty much a stone with arms and legs. Although, I did hear psychology is still a bit too abstract even by these days standards, leading people to theorize conditions about themselves, but never with full certainty, so maybe she could see herself as a psycho, but not be 100% sure.
@@JabamiLain If you are going to do it from her perspective then her identifying as something widely known, such as a psychopath or sociopath, would work. She doesn't necessarily need an accurate diagnosis, because you're right, people theorize conditions about themselves. On the other hand, if her character is someone who would want to understand herself in a psychological way to know what's really wrong with her, then it'll be necessary to go into a bit more detail - obviously by doing more research. In that case, I would google questions that she herself would google and see what comes up. I hope that you figure it out though :)
@@Tammi136 thanks. You know, I'm Asperger, so my empathetic and social habilities can be limited, to the point I might look a bit like a psychopath. I was thinking that maybe that could be her condition, but her dad (a psychologist as sensitive as a rock), kinda has a study to prove psychopathy can be related to autism/Asperger, so he tries to use her to prove it. He's not cruel or anything (in fact, she remembers him fondly, albeit in a somewhat professional manner), but it doesn't exactly help her develop her empathetic habilities, which already worsens the problems she faces because of the bullying for her albine condition. And later her mom, after the father dies...well, she provides for the girl, and doesn't beat her or anything, but she's even more distant than the father, as she doesn't see herself as capable of caring for a cold child. There is one moment she tries to connect...doesn't lead to much.

@@-anna-413 maybe she let the killing of penguin's mother go already barbara is the one to forgive people easily but why when it comes to people dying idk good for ehr that she kicked tabby out of her club when she did tabby had no right to stab a mom in the back she got her back stabbed in the back alright by her all along :) by kicking her to the curb i mean
