I miss the innocent Barbara who loved jim with all her heart especially that scene when she was so worried about him and then when he came home she was so relieved she called him James

They still care for each other deep inside, even when Barbara becomes a Psycho.
They should spent more time letting us seeing them working as a strong couple. They rushed the crazy too fast imo.
Barbara Kean is a very interesting character in the DC comics universe. She went from bisexual socialite engaged to Jim Gordon, then evolving to a psycho killer, and into one of the most notorious crime lords in Gotham.
Their relationship was never given a fair chance. It's like Oliver Queen's and Laurel Lance's. I'm pretty sure Barbara never went nuts like that, and Jim and Lee never knew each other in the comics.
In the comics Barbara and Jim are married and have 2 children (Batgirl and Jim Jr) since pilot i was hoping to see them together all along the seasons :(
Idk if Jim and Lee know each other in the comics, but since she has a good relationship with Batman they may had meet

I never get why James Gordon can drop Barbara so easily. They are engaged to be married, and then he dump her in like 2 seconds flat. Start going out with Lee next episode and then deny like any relation between him and Barbara for the rest of all seasons.
I think that's because he loves her too much it scares him to be with her. She saw his dark side which disturbed her and Jim doesn't want to do more damage to her. He has less intimate bond with Lee which is easy for him.
They where not engaged, Barbra left him and cheated on him, and than she went crazyyy
@@pumpkinbagelpatch It seems like you didn't watch the show. They were engaged and if anything, Gordon cheated on her with Lee. Barbara is still recovering from her shock where she is captured by Falcone and she left to think things through. Gordon started dating Lee when she left. He didn't even break up with Barbara properly. Just went up to her place to "drop off the keys" when she is not in house and Barbara only knows Gordon breaks up with her when she returns and Selina told her Gordon left the keys. Gordon is an absolute jerk.

Barbra was scared and stuff so she left him a note that said she was leaving and taking some time to think, she didn’t even say it in purpose
But she wasn’t thinking at all she went and cheated on him, she went back to her ex and started making out with her and living with her, she left her ex and went of living in a hotel and at her parents house and never came back to Jim or anything so what was he supposed to do wait months for her to come back after she cheated on her? He left the keys because there was no use going there anymore if she wasn’t there and they where not still together. And he did not cheat on Barbra. SO I THINK YOU DIDNT WATCH THE SHOW
@@pumpkinbagelpatch is that so, coz the cheating with her ex is before the Falcone incident. Her ex declares that they have to stop seeing each other when the Falcone incident starts and warn Barbara to leave Gordon and that's the end between them. Barbara stick to Gordon through the Falcone incident and the trauma is too much for her to bear. Barbara left the note and went back to her parents. Her parents are horrible to her therefore she went to stay in the hotel.
It's crazy how Barbara changed all of a sudden
All these people protecting Barbara dont understand what a relationship is all about. She doesnt even have loyalty. Issues she caused herself by involving herself. Then proceeded to plague Jim for a choice she made on her own after he warned her not to get involved. When things got rough she went away and slept with Montoya.

I don't know why people hated Barbara in season 1, she was amazing in the season.. in every season actually.
I honestly miss the "good" Barbara though, her relationship with Jim was perfect and I was so disappointed that after they broke up Jim acted as if he never loved her at all.

I think what made me always love this couple was that one scene when barbara gets out of arkham and goes to Jim apartment .something with this scene. Like i felt sad for her but saw that she truly loved her. No hate to Lee ....she was amazing character and gf to jim but barbara and jim just got stuck to my head 😂❤❤😂great edit

After lee was working in the marrows Jim was on a case looking for a dude named doc but when he got there he found out it wasn't a dude it was her than she became good again then they wait till the last episode which is 10 yrs down the line and they are together the show ended so sudden i just re watched the series and man what great written show !! Hope this helps a little 😂

Mr. Frank yeah I did and that’s why I ship Jim with Barbara. She was always there for Jim then slowly Jim started to feel something for her again and as soon as Lee is back he lets Barbara down again. For a person who left him alone whenever Jim needed her (whole season 3) That’s sadly just bad writing imo. Barbara may have been crazy but you can see she loved Jim the whole time. Barbara deserves Jim and not Lee.
@@mxb9085 Barbara and Jim went through a lot in Season 5 too. I don't see why the script writers have to be like, Gordon MUST be with Lee. By their story arc, they should have broken up long ago what with Lee loving Falcone and then getting together with Nygma. Lee died with Nygma and literally next scene Lee and Gordon see each other, and they are together again. With no reason whatsoever.
