    Thanks guys for watching! I had been meaning to make this tutorial for some time but just couldn't find these oreo moulds anywhere. I have left a link above to an etsy store that sells these though, so if you live in Melbourne, this might be your best bet lol.
    Stay sweets guys, and I will catch you next time xxx

    • @Rosiesdessertspot
      @Rosiesdessertspot  7 років тому +2

      hey jenlovesjobros, copha / coconut oil set hard at room temp whereas crisco is soft and easily spreadable. it can still be used but the chocolate won't be as crisp / hard set.

    Hey Rosie , I bought those gold dust and I wanted to use in the liquid form for the chocolate molds and paint them with brush before putting chocolate into the molds. How can i turn the dust into liquids. With alcohol or cacao butter ? And what the ratio should be like? Can you please give me a recipe for that ?

    • @Rosiesdessertspot
      @Rosiesdessertspot  8 років тому

      hi +aysegul balan, I would use some vodka. In terms of recipe, I would add in a few drops at a time until I reach the consistency that I like :) I would aim for a thin paste, but nothing too watery.

    I liked the pink ones; I'm always looking for new ideas for molds, you could submerge a hardened Oreo sized disk of ganache instead of Oreos, and flavoured ganache could be an idea also...

      Hi +Amy P , the only moulds I could find are located in the US unfortunately. Here is one buyer who seems to ship to Australia: www.etsy.com/au/listing/208077261/plain-oreo-chocolate-mold?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=oreo%20mold&ref=sr_gallery_25 (still a little cheaper than the rest in terms of shipping costs, but might be a little expensive all the same. Best I could find so far!)

    • @Rosiesdessertspot
      @Rosiesdessertspot  8 років тому

      Hi +Dacia Hernandez, does this happen even after the chocolate has sat in the fridge for half an hour? If you, you could always rub just a little vegetable shortening around the mould to help it not to stick.

    What will happen if I don't use coconut oil pls

    • @Rosiesdessertspot
      @Rosiesdessertspot  8 років тому

      Hi +kay thi, if you add in gel food colour to melted chocolate without coconut oil then the chocolate will likely begin to harden and become grainy and unworkable. But if you don't want to add in coconut chocolate, you could always just use either powdered colour or oil based colours and nothing will happen to your chocolate :)
