    I love how even after all this young mans been through he's still in awe to see his favourite players. And the way they all came to meet him, is truly a hockey move, you play puck then you sir are welcomed into our family.

    Seeing him walk with a limp is so heartbreaking.. such an unfortunate situation and knowing it will effect the rest of his life is truly a shame. Will never be the same and the ones that were lost forever truly did not deserve their fate

    Incredible how far the boys have come in just under a year. How they have recovered is beyond remarkable. I still get choked up whenever I think about the incident. I’m never going to have a bad day because these guys have had way tougher days than I will ever have. #humboldtstrong

    As a life time red wing fan I can honestly say the Penguins remind me so much of what the Red Wings were from 1991 until around 2013. Winning a ton and a ton of classy players. Crosby is so much like Yzerman in his demeanor . It is not surprising that Yzerman was his favorite player growing up. I still think you all stole that 09 cup though. I still don't know how that happened . lol but your organization is class act .

    People are just people and love the game, down to the basics of just skating, shooting and stick handling.....foes on the ice during game time but we’re all the same after that. Health, peace and love hockey fans!

    I’m a Flyers fan and I love Crosby. Incredible player and person. I don’t want him to have success vs. the Flyers but you have to respect greatness.

      Me too. I coached my son in Cole Harbour hockey for years at the rink Crosby grew up playing in. I'm Flyers all the way... Crosby is my favourite player though.

      Matechuk spent a month in a coma after the accident. He's been going through speech therapy, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy
