There's something about hockey that brings people together. No matter where it's played, even in Kenya, it connects people like no other sport can. Props to Tim Hortons for bringing capturing that feeling. I think Crosby said it best "I think I had just as much fun as those guys did" Whether you're a pro, or learning to play in Kenya, you'll fall in love with hockey!
That was the individual franchises that abused the hours/pay and head office made the franchises correct what they had done. As for the food depends on the locations, I've gone to timmies across Canada for 30 years and probably 99/100 have been great experiences and the bad they always fixed it!! This is why we love Hockey. 🏒 I love seeing Hockey being played around the world, having games done in China. Seeing rinks in Africa. Thank you, TH.
Eddie VIII that’s because hockey isn’t all that popular in a lot of countries. It is expensive because of the rink time the rink it’s self, the equipment etc. it’s not a cheap sport but that’s why there are trying to gain more attention to it by bringing it to China and they had a Muslim girl come out and meet the capitals last year and now Kenya this year. Stfu this is a moving story and they have a go fund me to fund this under privileged people and they have Kraft town every year where they build a hockey rink for a small town. So come with facts next time instead of this negative racially targeted remarks
If you're from Toronto like me, you'd know that Nazem Kadri is Muslim. You'd know that when you go to Maple Leafs Square there are people from all colours wearing the blue and white. The fact that it's a rich white man's game doesn't really change anything. Basketball and football are predominantly black american's from poor backgrounds.
Absolutely amazing. The looks of pure joy when they walked into the locker was priceless. I sometimes forget how fortunate I was to grow up playing the best sport in the world.
