Do you think we'll see more riders camping in 2025 compared to recent years?

@@HerTwoWheels indeed, it has already started here in Australia only problem in Australia is the extreme heat when heading north. You have to pick the seasons. In October next year I will be riding around Tasmania.

I already have my first moto-camping trip planned for 2025 in SW Texas. To Jess's point though.... I challenge anyone driving on an interstate at night pull into a Rest Stop. They are filled with people sleeping in their cars and trucks.. why? Because as Jess stated, the cost of a hotel/motel has exploded. And I confess, I've even been on my motorcycle and pulled into a rest stop and just thrown my sleeping bag on a picnic table... So yup, Jess has got this prediction nailed. It is a bit primitive but fun. And I'm 73, hardly a kid. But moto camping is as good as it gets.

You’re the SOLE reason I began motocamping…it looked so peaceful and relaxing, so I bought the gear, packed the bike, and took off…it’s been liberating. So, thank you SO much!!!

After the events of the past few weeks, I'm definitely planning on many long Moto trips, but focusing on places *outside* the US, lol. Some new vistas to remind me there's more to the world than... (waves hands) whatever is about to happen here. First up, Scottish Highlands!

Funny you mentioned Vanlife, been considering that myself. I been homeless since August, I packed up my camping gear and last resort camp, I sort of did camp for two months, in a camper someone let me stay in and I realized I can live tiny. But I want to do real camping, my tent and all my gear, hopefully when it warms up.

Motorcycle trips are a blast but I'll spring for the hotel! Nothing like a hot shower after a long day of riding! Enjoy your trip tho, Jen,

More campers, more hotel room available meaning downwards price pressure.

aways moto camped, but now it's getting time, to leave the tents behind, and step up to the plate, and drag the bikes behind the RV. (the only reason, you channel gets hits is) we didn't have UA-cam, or heck, even cell phones back when we were doing it. 70-80's, I didn't have my 1st cell phone til I was 37.

I have a property I’m working on where a house used to be on it. I plan on putting. RV hook up on the property and just running it out to someone with an RV or I thought about maybe putting a shower and a bathroom and advertising it as a motorcycle camping place and charging like $15 a day, I know I wasn’t going to get Rich but at least it would pay for the property and the taxes hopefully. There needs to be an app where motorcyclist traveling can look up places that offer them to pitch tents and or maybe take a shower as well oh and did the girl in the shirt pink shorts make you lose you’re train of thought? If so hell I like you even more. Ha

In 2023 I went camping four different times. Each time I can only stay for one night because I had a dog at the house. 2024 my dog died. So I was able to go camping for more than one night at a time. But I was also suffering from Great depression. I set up to go camping for three nights ended up staying for only one. I was depressed alone and lonely so I said screw it and went home. That was my only camping trip in 2024. Hopefully next year I will be feeling better and we'll go on many more camping trips for nights at a time.

Shame J&H don't sell there exhausts in Australia. I went with V&H and people just have to put up with the slightly louder sound, but given how much space we have in Australia, it's not much of an issue and the V&H is not that loud.

I will be ... schedule permitting... I know here in Indiana camping prices are higher than what I would consider reasonable.. especially during those covented 3 day holiday weekends. Hopefully, the younger riders will begin to camp more. Those are the ones that will push those numbers up and are less likely to need campers.

I love your Pan Am, I have the 2022 Pan Am Special Enthusiasts Collection, Army Green version, and I love a Pan Am with a solid colour. The silly different colour fairing on the front of a Pan Am looks silly. I'm not going camping, I did than years ago, these days at 61, I like to find cool country pubs, then I'm in Victoria Australia, and I think we have more affordable options than you all USA riders.
