Balfour Track, a rainforest walk in the Tarkine, Tasmania - Complete First-Person Trail

A complete recording of the Balfour "Packhorse" Track in the Tarkine Region of north-western Tasmania from a first-person perspective using a chest-mounted GoPro in 4k resolution.

An easy stroll through pristine temperate rainforest. No spectacular views, no particular goal, just to document the track.
I only applied minimal post-processing of the coverage, basically to speed up the less interesting bits. So when I appear to be jogging I just accelerated the recording by a factor of 2 or 3. But the main points of interest are shown in normal speed.

Wow! Still as stunning as ever. When I & my best friend were 10 in the mid 1970s, we lived in a pyramid in Balfour. We had such good adventures and would ride a quad bike along the many dirt tracks there. We were living in a small community. I recall wood was chopped for a wood heater so we could have warm short showers. I recall it being very cold & and at times it would snow.
I have such fond memories.
