This channel shows recordings of hiking trails taken from a first-person perspective using a chest-mounted GoPro camera with 4k resolution. The current focus is on bushwalking tracks around Cairns in Queensland, and Tasmania, Australia.
- We show the complete trails, from start to finish
- We show the authentic immersive experience with minimal video editing
- We stop at points of interest to look around
- The rather boring sections are accelerated 2, 3 or 8 times to keep the videos short and interesting
- We only use the original sound from nature, no talking or annoying music

Mount Wellington Circuit near Hobart, Tasmania - Complete First-Person Trail
A complete recording of the circuit track to Mount Wellington via Pinnacle and Ice House tracks from a first-person perspective using a chest-mounted GoPro in 4k resolution.

This track starts and ends at the Springs, goes up the Zigzag track and covers the Mount Wellington plateau with amazing views over Hobart and other parts of Tasmania.
I only applied minimal post-processing of the coverage, basically to speed up the less interesting bits. So when I appear to be jogging I just accelerated the recording by a factor of 2 or 3. But the main points of interest are shown in normal speed.

Wow! Still as stunning as ever. When I & my best friend were 10 in the mid 1970s, we lived in a pyramid in Balfour. We had such good adventures and would ride a quad bike along the many dirt tracks there. We were living in a small community. I recall wood was chopped for a wood heater so we could have warm short showers. I recall it being very cold & and at times it would snow. I have such fond memories.
