You guys are so nice. You’re always trying to teach people how to do things more efficiently. You don’t always find that in America today. I know some viewers may say this video is a waste of time but it’s not and I for one want to say Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge with us. I can’t wait till my wife and I can start traveling.
I love the way you "nerd out" on travel planning! We also travel with a trucker's atlas and 3-ring binders filled with information on the weather, potential things to do, and lists of fuel stops and campgrounds that we've deemed "big-rig friendly" after reviewing them on Google Earth in advance. Collecting and assembling all of the information is almost as fun as the trip!
Thank you so much for this video. After talking with you at the Tampa RV Show and the details you shared here we are off and running on our trip planning. 😊❤
Great video, we were just talking about planning today. We’d love to see the entire presentation, especially specific to HDT’s and how you lay out your trip planners. We plan to full time when we retire and the trip planning part is new to us. Thank you for all of your videos, they have helped us plan ahead in so many ways and gave us great places to add to our bucket list.
Hi David! Hi Sondra! This is an awesome informational video, especially for those that may only have a limited time to travel due to work vacations, etc. We definitely use some of the tips you showed. The one thing we haven't tried yet is boondocking even though the camper is set up to do so. Safe travels!
Great video. Took me back to when we planned our trips without all of the helpful things on line. Paper maps, Find a square dance and pick the locals brains about things to do. One couple actually gave us their Entertainment book with coupons 2 for 1 dining and all that fun stuff.
Great video that is helpful to all when planning a trip. I enjoyed the ideas and keeping track of your plans be they on a plain planner or a fancy one…like Sondra’s
@timor6677 😆 wow! Someone put sour milk in your Cheerios this morning. Sorry about that. It's just our 10 years of fulltime RV experience that we're sharing to anyone interested. You're obviously not interested which is fine. We hope you have a great day. Thanks
"Got it down to about 15 minutes " Where I worked we had a quality engineer give a 44 slide presentation on why us managers should use LEAN. I asked him if he had used the LEAN process when creating his presentation, he didn't think that was funny.
Hey, yeah but you have that special Garmin that has the Whataburger routes every time you plan a trip out there's always a Whataburger or a Hobby Lobby
There's a wonderful place to go it's called creed Colorado. It was the last silver mining town in Colorado. The history there is incredible and they do have an RV park. That being said you may have to rent a car to do some of the activities outside of creed like bachelor's loop I don't think the smartcar will make it. If you ever do please enjoy.
This is awesome! We won’t be full timers nor do we have a rig that requires extra planning, but this was very helpful. I zoomed in on almost all the slides. Grand Canyon is #2 on our big 🪣 list. The temps shown indicate to us late spring or early fall for maybe next year. This year we want to go to the Smokies in September. Sounds like a good title for a country song. Oh, and in 2029 you are visiting MO? Did you mean to write Chillicothe? That’s my home state. 🙃😉 I grew up way north of St Joe. We used to drive through Chillicothe and Hannibal on our way to Illinois to visit my mom’s family.
I would prefer to go to a town and ask the locals what there is to see and do in the area. Google is good, but it always highlights all the tourists ($$$$) traps, are usually crowded and hard to find a parking spot. But, it all depends on what a person wants to see or do and how much time they want to spend in an area.
I thank you for the response. 2 questions is there a boat in the future? And what's with the ear muffin in 70 degree weather sondra! Again enjoy your videos!
Ah...whaaat?!? Nope. You've got the wrong channel. We don't do sponsors, never have and never will. We don't place mid-roll ads either so you can enjoy the entire video without commercial interruption. and you will never find us doing a Brooklyn Bedding either!

That's fantastic. The unedited and entire presentation is on the members section. More a behind the scenes vibe.

Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching. We're hoping a few people will find it helpful in their RV endeavors.
Started traveling long before there was GOOGLE and was never disappointed . We used paper maps, and rarely a reservation. Those were the days. 🇺🇸
My parents were full timers from 1980-2001. Their dogeared atlas was well loved by my mom, the navigator.
Oh yeah. Those were the days. Thanks
Another lecturer the from the “know it alls”!

@@bigtruckbigtravels he’s probably a Russian bot. Pay no attention to him. The rest of us love your content and “sometimes” your corny humor. 😉🙃

Hey, yeah but you have that special Garmin that has the Whataburger routes every time you plan a trip out there's always a Whataburger or a Hobby Lobby
Ssshhhh....that's our little secret! 🤣😂
Only Captain Chaos does roadtrips without planning.
🤣🤣
😆 🤣 that's funny...and true!
Sondra is a great planner.
She loves her planner. Very organized.

We will definitely look into Creed, Colorado, it sounds awesome! We spent the summer in Colorado a few years ago and loved Leadville. Thanks
yahooooooo!!! a new video! :)
🤣😂🤙

Oh yeah. We want to travel Highway 36 from Hannibal across. Got to stop in Chillicothe, the home of Sliced Bread!
Take the Roverboat at Hannibal. I did last summer in May. I saw Huck and Jim down on the raft!

Feet on the street is always best but you have to start somewhere... and from a thousand miles away...Google is it. Thanks
I got a pull through. Ur family to me and my wife. It depends on how u wanna pull in
I've had motor coaches b4
Very true. Pull through sites are convenient.
I thank you for the response. 2 questions is there a boat in the future? And what's with the ear muffin in 70 degree weather sondra! Again enjoy your videos!
I'm hoping there's a boat in the future (I keep trying) and the east muffs come out when there's wind at or below 70!
