Wow so cool to see this park. We lived in Houston in a hotel for 11 months while my husband was getting treatment at MD Anderson. I looked at a mini home for sale in that park, because I knew we may be down there longer. Unfortunately my husband lost his fight with leukemia July 11th. Something my husband loved was 7-11 slurpees so my boys thought it was cool he passed on 7-11 free slurpee day. Welcome back to Texas!
Thank you. Sorry for your loss. That's neat your children have a great memory of that day though and not just sadness. Appreciate your comment and we enjoy that park.

Wow, there was a lot of going on in this one! I was feeling for you David when you had the "wash" day. Made me remember when. Sure looked good afterwards. You had me going a bit when you did the headlights on the Smart because that taping around the lights didn't quite work I'd say! Again, it was quite the variety show to enjoy and so glad to see someone get their What-a-burger fix on!
David, you need to an official spokesperson for Whataburger just an idea. I think you would be good at it. Just seeing you park that truck in a garage like that would be a hair raising experience for novice drivers. You did that with ease.
Those headlights were cured of their glaucoma for sure. Great job! Gotta get ne a 4-way sillcock key. After a long time away, it's good getting back to your roots - missed ya Whataburger! Good exchange Sondra - stickers for a sharpie!😂 That track crossing emergency number is a potential lifesaver! I thank you 2 adulting folks for this week's episode. Outstanding! Thank you guys for sharing. Always nice seeing People, just being Kind people. Thank you for allowing all of us to "Ride Along" on your adventure. 😃❤
Lettuce all know how that smell kit turns out. My granddaughter lost her smell also and it would be wonderful at least she got it back. I enjoy watching the two of you with your big rig. You are the only couple that I watch with RV travel with such a big rig.
You folks just taught me two new things about full hookups I never thought of. I am definitely getting one of those circuit testers. Plus I never thought about sanitizing the water spigot hook up with spray before. Both are great ideas. Thank you for sharing these two tips.
Glad to help and I've seen way too many people stick their sewer hose up the spigot to flush it. 😳 Plus a little residual bleach in the lines keep them clean too!
Love how organised you guys are ……Sondra I was diagnosed years ago as needing sinus surgery…..which freaked me out, so I did some research……led me to emptying my sinus nose spray, refilled it with water & sea salt dissolved in it. Used in same way as spray (swimming in sea water good too)……not pleasant but voila sinus gone…..also gave up all dairy……that was 35 yrs ago and never had a sinus infection since. It peeps in, if I cheat and eat ice cream …… oh and I also used the sniffing of essential oils , so you are on your way……best wishes, a dr once told me Sinus infection pain can be as bad as a brain tumour, get well soon 👍🇦🇺🫡❤️❤️
Another great video, I always enjoy & learn something from them. I store my RV right north of Patriot RV in Pilot Point, I never knew they existed, will have to keep them in mind for any future RV repairs, looks like you were happy with their service. When I take my RV back to my house in Frisco from storage, I usually take 377 (it veers to the SW a little north of where you were), then I get onto 380 going east, that way I avoid that intersection of 380 & 424, I'm not sure my RV would get through that intersection without scraping. Also, the faucet 4-way is a great idea to carry, went to your Amazon site to order one. Thanks again for letting us tag along on your journey, it is always fun! PS: for what it's worth, we signed up for You tube TV, it wasn't that expensive & with Roku & our hotspot, we can get pretty much all the channels we need for football and stuff.
The Walmart you maneuvered around the parked truck in is my local store in Huntsville, Tx. The frontage road is all torn up for construction so getting in there could have been challenging. I know there is room to circle around behind the building because I did so when I was driving OTR. The "What a Burger" is right down the frontage road but you already know that.
I know a couple of those characters in the closing pics.....Pretty good folks they are !!!! Glad to have finally got to meet you guys....See y'all out there soon enough.

2 hours west is a LOT more peaceful. We love the convenience of the area... but the traffic is getting bad. We like the park so it works for us. Thanks
I used the same Moxie kit after covid. I was able to get some of my taste & smell back. I continued with individual essential oils for almost a year. I have about 50% of my taste & smell. Some scents come across different now. Hope Sandra has good luck with it.
Out of HS I drove a tractor trailer for Pepsi in Vegas for 6 years (circa 81) before becoming a civil engineer. It was a blast to drive and loved the challenge getting around the city.
Wow! That’s a lot of projects! Don’t you just love when they’re finally finished…even if only for awhile? Looks like you got your Whataburger fix for a bit🍔👍🏼 We’re with you on the football. Love watching it! When we hit the road, whatever town we happen to be in on a Friday night, if they have a high school home game, we want to go. Love high school football because they aren’t playing for money… just a love of the game. Seems to have gotten lost somewhere in the NFL😔 Anyway, have fun and be safe you two!❤~Wendy
It’s nice to see that occasionally you have to adult but not for too long. Glad David got his Whataburger fix. Seems like all is right in your world … well except for Sondra’s smell and taste. I sure hope what the doctor recommended helps. Safe travel to the next location. God bless.
@@bigtruckbigtravels once I got my smell back after Covid it has been super sensitive. Sure hope hers doesn’t get more sensitive than it was before. We have really been enjoying riding along with you guys on your adventures, we are hoping to get away for the winter (from MN), so it's nice to see some of the places you have been.
I have driven past the RV shop on Fishrrap many times. Then to see the Whataburger where my grandson worked was fun. I just wanted to comment and welcome you to my area. David you difinately earned your Whataburgers with all your many completed projects 🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔 I ❤ your longer videos involving day to day home life, you are both an amazing wonderful team and joy to watch. Much love to you both from Melbourne Australia 🦘❤
Went to a Round Rock Express game with my son a few weeks back. During the game one of the players hit a home run which meant all attendees got gift certificates for a free Whataburger breakfast sandwich. On the way out the staff actually handed us several of those coupons. Been taking full advantage of free sandwiches.
We had lots of problems with scale in our water until we installed a Max Water filter. It's called Siliphos Anti-scale filter. It comes with a housing and a 5 lb. bag of "rocks" that clean your water of scale over time. We already had a water filtering system (homemade) and just put it in the system instead of our other filter. It didn't take long before we noticed a real difference. Now I never have to clean out my hot water tea kettle. BTW, we've stayed at Conner, TX Thousand Trails several times, and we like it there, too.
What a burger needs to be paying you for all the video promotions you do. 😂😂😂 I hope you win the contest. 🤞Our RV was new and on one of the first trips we had a big rock hit our windshield making a nice divot. We used RainX windshield repair and it was amazing product. You can’t see we the crack was. Thanks for sharing ❤
I've used the 3M headlight kit on my old Dodge Dakota and loved the result, but there is a UV protective layer that comes off with the sanding/ polishing. You have to be careful about keeping it protected. Mine looked about as bad less than a year later. I did find some fairly inexpensive off brand replacement headlights and just replaced them.
Hey David, next opportunity you get, try a Culver's ButterBurger as a whataburger alternative.🙂 Interesting video--amazing how many chores there are on the road.
Looked it up online: The football facility is called Bill Carrico Sports Complex, has a capacity of 7,000. The school is called Ray Braswell high school (north of Dallas) and has a student population of 2,696 as of 2022. So the stadium seats 2.5x the entire student body population at the high school.
If you’re Starlink dish is too close to the hd tv antenna the Starlink signal will block out the tv antenna from getting signal. I’ve been there done that. Love the show, watch every week and yes David I am subscribed, lol
😆 🤣 you're way ahead of us! Thank you! The antenna is supposed to block out other interference... but it was a less expensive version so I have my doubts. Thanks again
Fort Knox pharmacy 😅🙃. Thank you for the railway crossing tag info!! Best wishes on sinus/teeth issues, had no idea the T in ENT stood for teeth, lol. 😁
@ 12:16 .. what kind of class is Sondra teaching? Hope I’m not the only one who does not know what that means. A video filled with projects (good skills David) & going the xtra mile for Sondra’s nose. Hope smell & dental work is a success 🇨🇦 ❤
😆 that could be... we think it's a little bit of the tires, the 2 inch concrete floor and the framing which contributed to the shrunken "14 foot door". Thanks
David likes Eucalyptus, a product called OdoBan, sold at Sam’s Club, Home Depot or Lowes. I use it to clean things, I even use it in my laundry. Smells great.
Love your videos! We are not rv'rs but I love traveling virtually through your lens. Do you ever show more about Sondra's scrapbooking or sticker books? I would love to see that as well.
@@bigtruckbigtravels Great. My dream is to get an overhead camper and renovate it to a craft room, but my husband thinks it should be a fishing room LOL!
Same here, had a #SinusInfection that was attached to 2 teeth. Both teeth were extracted to fix. Now my speech has changed at the #FastFood restaurant’, Large Fries are now Large Flies, permanent change, no #SpeechFix after removal of the #BuckTeeth.
Love the look of your vehicles after they were all cleaned up. What products do you use? I tried to pause the video and see what was in the tub, but wasn’t sure what you were using. Thanks and safe travels!
I've changed several times. I used to use Turtle Wash n' Wax. Tried the Chemical Guys ceramic wash/wax. Not sure yet what I like yet. Both have Pros and cons. I do know that for our setup, I have to scrub. No foaming action and it just slides off for me...LOL.
@@bigtruckbigtravels thank you for your honesty! I appreciate you both in that regard. Whichever one you use, your rig always looks so clean. Happy trails, until we meet again. Oh, wait, we haven’t met in person yet, guess that just go to show how old I am. 🤣🫡🇺🇸
I am sure you had some withdrawal symptoms after 7 months without a whataburger 😂. Always something to do in a RV. Great video content and nice music, thanks!
Hearing you mention “Boozsho” so often has had me really perplexed. Finally, in watching an earlier video, I got it. Bullet Journaling, right? I had wondered if it was a weird take on “bourgeois” or “bougie.” I have been totally confused for months! Lol. I love ongoing creative projects and have since childhood but somehow, in my retirement years when I have too much free time, I let that go. I wish I could find a local beginner’s class in Pearland or Houston. I’m now on a mission! TY
😆 🤣 easily mistaken for "bougie" but we're talking about "BUJO" which is an acronym for (you were correct) bullet Journaling. Sondra's version is a scrapbooking hybrid and she combines the two into bujo. She's addicted. 😆 🤣 The week of Thanksgiving I'm releasing a video on the Class she taught at the recent HDT Rally about bujo and how she does it.
Hi guys! We stay in Lake Conroe TT every year. Steve said he had seen your rig there a few years ago, before we started following you. Anyway, do you know there is an Amazon Locker next door to the park? It’s on the right, in that rv storage/park on the right before you turn into TT. Super handy. We enjoy your videos.
Yes. It’s open. We used it this spring. We will be there in Nov. If it’s closed I’ll let you know. I hope not. We also use the Hardware store D & M True Value when the packages are too big for a locker. It’s on West Montgomery St. Also, the donut shop across the street has wonderful Apple Fritter Donuts. :)
Great Video David and Sondra!! I did have a couple of questions for David regarding his set up for full hook ups. 1. I don’t see an EMS on the electrical. Is it inside? 2. When connecting water you sprayed the spigot with…? Appreciate any details. Thanks!!
Thanks, Mike. The EMS (Surge Guard) is mounted inside and monitors our power input. I sprayed bleach on the faucet because we've seen some campers shove their sewer hose on the spigot to flush it out. Yuck!

Thanks again for this week video!👍
Our pleasure, Marco! Appreciate your time watching the channel too!
Sounds like you got a lot of projects done here in Texas. I hope you got your fill of Whataburger. Y’all stay safe. Camry wait to see where y’all go next. Gig em
Got a ton done... visited Whataburger about 12 times! So good!
David you difinately earned your Whataburgers with all your many completed projects 🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔 I ❤ your longer videos involving day to day home life, you are both an amazing wonderful team and joy to watch. Much love to you both from Melbourne Australia 🦘❤
Wow, thanks and G'day! We sure completed a lot of projects, no doubt. On to the rally now.
Enjoyed watching you guys adulting as you say. Looking forward to the next adventure for sure
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for watching.
Ugh! We used to live just south on 720/380. Has been a bottleneck for so long and now with construction 😮. Great job maneuvering 🎉
Thanks 👍lots of construction! Changed a lot in 2 years.
Fantastic video. I always learn so much (not so sure hubby wants me to tell him 😂 ). Have fun till next week!
Thank you very much. Let's keep it a secret.
Boy you are a go getter with all those projects!! Now you have a nice shiney rig!
You got that right! So shiny! Looks great! Thanks for watching
Well no scenery this time but I still enjoyed your video and all your Mr. Handyman puttering.
Glad you enjoyed it. Unfortunately, not all our travels are to incredibly scenic areas...most are but some are ordinary.
Went to a Round Rock Express game with my son a few weeks back. During the game one of the players hit a home run which meant all attendees got gift certificates for a free Whataburger breakfast sandwich. On the way out the staff actually handed us several of those coupons. Been taking full advantage of free sandwiches.
Oh... that's sweet! Good you got those!
Thanks. I'll look into that.
😆 thanks and that's true with Whataburger... but that's OK, I just like them. Didn't win the contest. Oh well...
True. The protectant I added will help but eventually they will need to be replaced. Thanks
Hey David, next opportunity you get, try a Culver's ButterBurger as a whataburger alternative.🙂
Interesting video--amazing how many chores there are on the road.
Culver's is very good too! I enjoy the broccoli side and the cheese curds with warmed marinara.
Looked it up online: The football facility is called Bill Carrico Sports Complex, has a capacity of 7,000. The school is called Ray Braswell high school (north of Dallas) and has a student population of 2,696 as of 2022. So the stadium seats 2.5x the entire student body population at the high school.
😆 that's pretty typical for Texas High School football. It's incredible how big the stadiums are for high school!
Amazon great place to shop have everything you need
No kidding... actually, it's too easy now! 😆 🤣
I'm sure glad you finally washed the rig,
Oh man... me too! It didn't come off easily though!
I know how much work it takes to wash ours, and it's not as large😅😅 as yours.
@@larryburkett9837 ugh! Took me 1 1/2 days. But it needed it!
Yeah, enough adulting. 🤣🤣🤣 Hope you're feeling better soon. See you next week for "back to fun"!!🥳
Yes! Thank you! Sometimes you can have too much adulting and not enough fun... time for fun!
Making Whattaburger marketing employees redundant for years now. Have a great week guys.
😆 🤣 that's true! I just enjoy them...Sondra tolerates the visits! Thanks, Brendan.
Fort Knox pharmacy 😅🙃. Thank you for the railway crossing tag info!! Best wishes on sinus/teeth issues, had no idea the T in ENT stood for teeth, lol. 😁
😆 🤣 Thanks for watching. It was the strangest pharmacy we've visited...ever! 😆
@ 12:16 .. what kind of class is Sondra teaching? Hope I’m not the only one who does not know what that means. A video filled with projects (good skills David) & going the xtra mile for Sondra’s nose. Hope smell & dental work is a success 🇨🇦 ❤
She's going to teach a decorative planner class at the National Rally this week.
The 14 foot overhead space was largely taken up by those new tires…
😆 that could be... we think it's a little bit of the tires, the 2 inch concrete floor and the framing which contributed to the shrunken "14 foot door". Thanks
Thank you for another great video watching you from Cathlamet WA state.
Thanks for watching! Really appreciate it.
Steve has used 3M on five different vehicles. Works wonderfull.
Nice. I'll keep that in mind too. Thank you
I have to try that RainX treatment on my headlights on my truck. Looks good!
Yes. It worked great! I was a little worried about sanding headlights! Thanks
Glad you made it into the shop... was on pins and needles all week waiting to see what happened 😉
You and me both! It was sooo close. I don't understand it. A 14 foot door and we should have had plenty of room!
It looks very good, it's the car light.
Thanks. It did a great job on the lights.
Happy to see you guys again.🥰🥰🥰
Us too! Glad to be seen again!
David likes Eucalyptus, a product called OdoBan, sold at Sam’s Club, Home Depot or Lowes. I use it to clean things, I even use it in my laundry. Smells great.
Thanks for sharing!! I love the smell of eucalyptus in the forest too!
Also you can call if a train is stopped on the crossing for more than 15 minutes.
Ok...interesting. Did not know that! Thanks
Washing the solar panels, that's up to all of us.and more so for those of us who like to live traveling with the house on our backs.
I think it helps the power output quite a bit!
Loved the video! Blessings ❤ Chris
Thank you! You too! Appreciate your time.
Love your videos! We are not rv'rs but I love traveling virtually through your lens. Do you ever show more about Sondra's scrapbooking or sticker books? I would love to see that as well.
They show up from time to time, 😆. There's more in an upcoming video.
@@bigtruckbigtravels Great. My dream is to get an overhead camper and renovate it to a craft room, but my husband thinks it should be a fishing room LOL!
I think that gluing the base of that antenna to the ceiling is better.
You may be correct. But I wasn't picking up many channels.
Thanks for sharing 😊😊😊
Our pleasure 😊
It's a compounding pharmacy, not a walgreens or CVS type. They make medications, so no walk in services usually.
Yes, but it was very different with the gate and all. I get it... but still different.
If yall are still in lake Conroe. If yall like hot dogs, check out buldogies on 105 in Conroe towards Montgomery.
Next time... thanks. We're in Kansas now.
Love your videos!!! Feel like Im traveling with you!!!
Awesome! Thank you!
I have a couple comments regarding some things we spoke about with your slide tops. I'll try to visit with you while we are neighbors.
thanks Rod.
Same here, had a #SinusInfection that was attached to 2 teeth. Both teeth were extracted to fix. Now my speech has changed at the #FastFood restaurant’, Large Fries are now Large Flies, permanent change, no #SpeechFix after removal of the #BuckTeeth.
We're hoping that this fixes Sondra. Thanks
Can Sandra tell us more about her scrapbooking?
We may do a video on that soon. She's doing a Class at the HDT National Rally on that.
I recall that being done I was afraid that would troublesome
Yes, we were a little worried as well. Thanks
It was nice to see a different type of video. We all need to "adult" now and then. hehe
Oh boy! Did we do some adulting!
I am sure you had some withdrawal symptoms after 7 months without a whataburger 😂. Always something to do in a RV. Great video content and nice music, thanks!
Thank you. My first taste was sooo good! Always projects in an RV!
@@bigtruckbigtravels I can almost taste it 😂
Hearing you mention “Boozsho” so often has had me really perplexed.
@@bigtruckbigtravels Yay!!! Exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks, both of you!
Great video guys!
Glad you enjoyed it! Appreciate you taking the time to watch the channel. 😊
LOVE YOU GUYS
Thank you, Annamay!
Looking at the devastation in the Us am hoping you are safe and well and nowhere near Florida or North Carolina
❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Thank you. That area has been hit hard. We're safe in Kansas.
Great job driving ❤❤❤
Thank you 🤗
@bigtruckbigtravels more videos for me to enjoy your travels yay why does that happen with the drinks machine in orionxxxxxxxx
Stay safe I hope you and your family are not near the hurricane please let me know if you are safe and away from the hurricane love Lisa
@lisaannjoseph6454 thank you, Lisa. We are in Kansas and well away from the effects of the hurricanes.
I am so glad that you are all good and safe
Love HobbyLobby! You need a whataburger sponsorship!
We agree! 😆 Probably not worth it because we'd show them whether or not they sponsored us! Sondra really enjoys Hobby Lobby.
We saw that but Amazon has that listed as a closed status. Is it open? That's way more convenient. Thanks
Yes. :)
See you next week.
See ya! Thanks for seeing us this week!
Yuck!
