The plaintiff also alleges the defendant is holding some of her personal belongings hostage. The defendant argues the plaintiff gave him the money and belongings as gifts.

The shahada does not magically “change you into a Muslim” and even if you’re “tricked” into saying it, you don’t have to be Muslim 😂 it’s not some magical spell that can’t be undone. I am always sad when people say things like, "Don't trust a man. They all lie. That's all they do." Each person has to be seen for who they are as an individual, and it usually takes time to get to know who someone really is. There are trustworthy people out there, and there are people who cannot be trusted. Take some time to get to know them first. The moral is NOT to stereotype all men together as liars, just as she wouldn't want anyone to stereotype all women as liars. The moral is to get to know a person before drawing any conclusions about their reliability.
