Just recently switched to a Freewheeler. I'm an older rider and now I don't have to worry about rain, gravel, or any of the other tip over hazards. The M-8 114 engine has plenty of performance without needing upgrades. Memphis Shades makes a great windshield for the Freewheeler. For the older rider who wants to stay in the wind, you can't beat it.

As far as upgrades go, you don’t really need the slip ons yet, But what you DO need are LED’s. Harley Still doesn’t have them standard. If you want to save money you can get all the LED’s you want from Custom Dynamics that come with a lifetime warranty and are plug and play. Also I recommend the Magic Strobe pulsating rear brake light module. I have a 23 vivid black Freewheeler and the stock exhaust is fine. I installed a windscreen which helps too. As with any Harley mods or upgrade are $$$$.

Thanks for sharing. In the next year or so I plan to purchase a Freewheeler. This will be my first motorcycle. 😊

I have a 22 Freewheeler and i put legend suspension on and it made a night and day difference. Along with S&S full exhaust and a wm8-22xe cam and LED headlight and taillights

I own a 2024 freewheeler and love it. Get alot of compliments on the vivid black. Custom windshield and sissy bar. Going to do a full pinstriping job.
The name of the bike is Three Shades Of Gray because of the three colors of Gray.

Thanks for the video. I am debating between Freewheeler and RG3. Freewheeler without a fairing looks like a circumcised **** , but I guess windscreen would solve it.
Currently I am riding Can Am Ryker Rally. And I cannot say I love it, primarily because it is a CVT, which annoys me. But, other than that, I think trikes are awesome. My wife would never go on rides with me on 2 wheels, but three wheels convinced her. Moreover, when it is raining, basically, I don't do any adjustments to my riding and feel as safe as on a dry road, although I am not an aggressive rider to begin with.
So there is a bunch of benefits to trikes. Even though, some other 2 wheel riders do not consider us "bikers" per se, with all the "leaning" stuff... WE DO LEAN INTO THE TURN TOO! 😆 We just don't want to bother with loose gravel.

Aesthetically the freewheeler reminds me more of the old harley servi-car. Which i can kinda get down with in a weird way

I’ve had some neck and spine surgery and am seriously considering the Road Glide 3. I currently ride a 2016 Road Glide Special.

Do you think using the front brake is still better on the trike than using the rear brakes just like it’s two wheeled counterpart?

I bought my Freewheeler new in 2021 and your braking is mostly at the back. You need to apply both back and front of course, but if your in a slow speed turn into a driveway for instance you'll want to use the back brakes to slow you down in that turn. You get used to the strategy rather quickly. That being said, unlike a two wheeler that relies on that front brake for most of it's stopping power you've got two rather large rear brakes that will bring you down quickly with the front brake keeping things stable. Love my Free.

That machine is just beautiful, even the colour scheme on that particular one... One day... haha
