@Un Shota Desnudito OwO not always, a tas can also be a player playing at a slowed down game speed for near perfect timings, it all depends on the game because some games aren’t beatable with the same inputs for everything and they actually need the judgement of a human for a tas
On level 6 at 0:54 why don't you go straight along the bottom instead of collecting that second dot by moving up? You can then collect that dot on the next trip around - I know its possible because I can do it myself. Considering how perfect everything else is I don't know how you could've missed that relatively big time save. Every other level is extremely impressive though, I thought I could do most levels the theoretical fastest way but you have proven me wrong lol.
Guys. A TAS is not meant to demonstrate human skill in real time. They're for showcasing the optimal/perfect way a task can be completed by any means necessary only doing what the game is programmed to do, they take countless retries or a very tedious input script to make. Personally they're more entertaining than speedruns.
I love how it uses human strategies used in actual speedruns rather than the other tasses that use absolutely Insane strategies than humans can only wish to do.

It's a tool assisted speedrun. It performs glitches using various frame perfect inputs that can be executed in order to break the code sequence in the game. Essentially in this way, the TAS, used inputs to manipulate the hitbox of the sprites so it doesn't actually hit it even though it does appear to hit it slightly.

This game has weird hit detection (or rather, too simple hit detection) You can pass through balls that are moving fast, here's why: Every time the ball moves, collisions are checked for where it moves in one clock cycle (usually 1 cycle per frame), not where it was in-between clock cycles. This causes trouble when the ball moves more than the size of the player in one clock cycle, where it essentially passes through. It's fixed visually, but it isn't fixed internally. This means that if you and the ball are both moving fast, there's a high chance you'll be able to 'noclip' through it. This is a TAS. It's meant to be incredibly close to the perfect playthrough. It's not done by a human, or if it is, the human is using *tools* to *assist* their *speedrun*. E: Changed terminology, frame =/= clock cycle
