True...but it is very difficult to ask to a baby to chew below 1 year. And food gagging was really scary for me. My daughter is 3 years old..she was on puree till 1 year 10 months old. At 22 months i started mashed food and at 2.5 year old she learnt chewing...but still i am giving Puree in breakfast only.. which is a mixture of 6 dry fruits ( almonds walnut pumpkin seeds watermelon seeds cashew dates ) with a fruit apple or pear along with oats or poha...all pureed together...for a healthy start...If i will give all these without grinding she will not eat at all ..so i will continue this till she will accept all this food to eat by chewing..it is very important to give proper nutrition..Rest lunch ,evening snack and dinner she eats by chewing her food

Thankyou so much for this video it was much needed help 😊My son is also not chewing food he is 3.3 yrs old I tried so much he is not eating fruits salad he likes mango and banana I give chapatis in dal I also tell him by enacting (aing aing) sound of chewing sometimes he cries and takes time to eat he love oats then u told about chips yes this happens with me son eating chips very choosy in food i am trying a lottt still trying I hope I get to see him chewing and eating everything as soon as that all I want now 😔
