Actually in Minecraft 1.16.1 if you write "2b2t" for the seed it will actually generate a world which is perfect for speedrunning. You spawn right next to a plains village that has some beds, there is a cave nearby with gravel, and about 70 blocks away from the village there is a lava pool. In the nether you spawn right next to a fortress that has an exposed blaze spawner and about 60 blocks away there is a bridges type bastion that has 16 gold blocks and very few to no hoglins spawn. The fortress should be easy if you got 1-2 fire resistance from piglin trades. Unfortunately the starting village has no blacksmith and therefore crafting both a bucket and an iron pickaxe at the beginning is impossible as you would need 6 iron and the max the golem can drop is 5. So you will have to use iron that you can find in one of the chests in the fortress. If you learn where exactly this chest is, it should only be a minor time loss. There aren't too many wither skeletons but you should still be careful. Getting to the stronghold is pretty standard as well as the end fight. you can triangulate the stronghold and then use a one cycle to kill the dragon. Be sure to practice one cycles to do it as efficiently as possible because you might run out of beds. This seed is potentially a sub 15 if you have good blaze drops. The seed as a number is: 1585394 EDIT: you actually can get both an iron pickaxe and a bucket using the fisherman strat. Just trade the wheat you got from the hay bales to emeralds and then using a barrell transform a villager with no profession into a fisherman. If you are lucky on the first try you can trade in the 3 emeralds you got from the farmer and get a bucket of cod. This way you just got a bucket without using a single piece of iron. If you don't get the right trades for the first time you can break and place down again the workstations of the villagers (composter-farmer, barrell-fisherman) to reset the trades.

Do you think you could do in-depth tutorials? Such as villages and structures in general, and general small time saves. I feel like I waste alot of time searching the villages because I don't know the different houses and I'm not being efficient enough and even basic things like what to prioritise in a speedrun. Or even if it's just a playlist you make of good speedrun videos and tutorials of other UA-camrs. That would be amazing thanks

i have 2 questions, so theres a bridge bastion near my nether base that i found by e raying and i think theres 2 bastions because when i use f3 the total entities is like 184 but im not sure? also im not speedrunning i just want to use the bastions most efficiently so was the ones shown in this video every single gold block in the bastion? and im on 1.17 so there are piglin brutes so its harder

Hey Couriway! I think it would be cool if you routed more sub-10 seeds. Like even faster than your World Record re-run. This seed that I found 5270002238036089093 has a simple village into lava pool overworld, but an insane nether. Would be cool to see how fast you could beat it! Either that or a crazy mushroom island spawn seed or something.
Couri if u find a 1 block lava source in a fortress, find a staircase that leads u to the 1 block lava source and go the opposite way of the staircase, and you will find the blaze spawner
You should do a set seed run but give your viewers the seed in advance, so we can run that seed on our own, then see how you do it and how we can improve.

I've watched most if not all your posted speed runs, Is the 0,0 based upon point of origin (spawn point) or actual 0,0 (I know most spawns are close to 0,0 but some aren't.) If a spawn is in the thousands in overworld is it just a tossaway seed?
0,0 is separate to the world spawn, which can be anywhere within a particular radius around 0,0. Also, if a spawn is far out that could be great for finding the stronghold quickly! Definitely not a tossaway
the timer is livesplit, and most speedrunners have two monitors and put the timer on the other monitor. if you don't have two monitors, just leave your game in windowed fullscreen.

I wish debug screen was added to bedrock, it’s very useful and a lot of speedrunning tips use it. I play bedrock mainly, i do play java sometimes. Java runs slow for me. But most tips are useful. MOJANG. ADD DEBUG TO BEDROCK IN 1.18 (or 1.17) Edit: i forgot, there is a coordinates screen. But other stuff doesn’t exist
Good video, you forgot to talk about educated and random nether travel tho, I think it's something important in speedrunning minecraft nowadays, you should make a video on it!

You should speedrun without breaking the minecraft laws: Never dig straight down No floating trees Close doors after you enter/leave a house And if you use the bucket with fish strat then let the fish live And last:GET THE DRAGON EGG...

i don't think it's possible for the spawnpoint to be over 300 blocks out, but it is good to be farther out.
