I feel sorry for the little old ladies who get these and can't make it up the ramp or have to push the thing. I'm a little old man with a bad hip and would not even consider this thing the way it is.
I got the impression this is either/or for pedal assist only OR for flat (ish) terrain. 250 watts is not a lot of power. My electric kick scooter is a single motor, supposed top output of 1000 watts, and even on the highest power speed mode, can't make it up every hill I have tried it on ( I am also 240 pounds.)
Great review. This e-trike was designed for casual around the neighborhood riding with perhaps shopping at your local grocery store. Hill climbing it’s not. Otherwise a great bike for the money. It would be a greater bike if they used slightly smaller wheels. A 26” wheel is much too big for a trike making handling a little more dangerous for the elderly and infirm to which it was meant for. I’m 78 years along and just suffered a major heart attack, so I need a good quality low cast trike. This meets all of what I need, except the unnecessarily large wheels. Come on sixthreezero, you need to update this thing.
That's a flat lander. It needs to be a mid-drive 750w minimum with steel reinforced gear in the motor and be able to climb 35° hill. It doesn't matter what color it is if it is nonfunctional. At least 48v, 25ah battery. Blinkers and stop and head and tail lights. Too bad it is so gutless. Anyone looking for a 3 wheel trike is dependent on the bike to do the work. That is not even in competition with the bottom of the scale of 3 wheel bikes. Talk is cheap and deceptive! It's a piece of eye candy with a sales-pitch
Why not do a 750 watt 48V with 15ah battery? Cap the speed at 16 mph but give it some torque. Add $250 and call it a day.
In the state I live 750W and higher requires a driver's license. Just a consideration for us old folks.

More stable? Only at 5mph or slower.
Hope you don't have a long gravel driveway. Maybe has a walk mode.😂 does it fit in the assisted living elevator?😮

We're glad you like it! Thanks for watching.
The tires should be no bigger than 20” and a 500w motor would make more sense.
Can I please have one of your e-bikes

Wall Mart approved.
