Sonic saved live action adaptations, detective pikachu kept it going, one piece showed that animated things can be amazing in live action, and WB tore it all down

I supported Jason for a long time so I’m not going to turn on him immediately. But honestly, I feel like he wasn’t mad about just the bad camera angle, and more so the whole situation. I feel like everything in the moment had him in a bad mood and it all funneled into that blowup on set. Of course, his actions are not condoned and he should’ve been better, but I feel like I wouldn’t be much happier than him.

Im not gonna try to change your mind became you can support who you want to support. But this is definitely not a one time thing. Jason is apparently know for his temper tantrum during filming and destroyed a lot of Amber Heards stuff during the filming of the first aquaman. The say Amber Heard he would then defend after all the bad things she did to Johhny Depp came to light. Like I said I'm not trying to change your mind about supporting him but dude is not a nice guy
Valkyrae didn't even know any context behind the whole situation. She was barely there in the shoot while Jason might've been working for months. Acting is a stressful job and while Jason is chill most of the time, he isn't devoid of human emotions. People do get angry. And we never even got to see if he even was angry or not. This video is completely based on one comment Valkyrae made and half of the video is just shitting on the trailer.

this movie is turning out to be terrible on all sides, because jack black AND jason both acting out of character over the movie is a bit weird to me. I get that people who do things for a cash just see adults as no nonsense gray businessmen but that doesn't apply anymore because the new generations of adults Actually care about their hobbies and interests. So once adults found out you don't have to sacrifice them to be considered an adult, they wanted to explore that part of their life more but some companies still don't understand that. Minecraft was supposed to be for everyone not just kids, so why think making this was a better idea instead of working with actual Minecraft fans who make amazing cinematic masterpieces that actually look like it's an actual Minecraft product would be better? I'm very sure if you removed the title it would look like a knock off, but it wouldn't ever look like it was supposed to be Minecraft movie. If this was made for kids, first i wanna say that the kids deserve better. Secondly that you shouldn't be arguing with the fandom when it was the fandom who made Minecraft the success it is, I don't doubt their they're gratefulness. I'm just surprised how their handling the backlash as if they are disciplining a rowdy child, there are fans who are just disappointed. Yes they may raise their voice but ultimately they feel as if they must get louder because you're ignoring them, this all may mean nothing to anyone. That's okay, but i think that if you spent a moment in the shoes of an artist who was never satisfied with their work but ppsted it anyway, life is odd when people say it was a masterpiece. That said, if everyone says there's something not good about the art.. then take a step back and ask why. It will fix more problems than just shouting back.

I’m personally on Jason’s side because there were times where I was involved in some projects and I just didn’t even wanna work towards it because of how unlikeable the atmosphere was.
I don’t see why people are hating on Jason for exactly this reason. We’re humans, we don’t handle everything with a grain of salt. Especially if you’re stuck with a project you hate.

The fact that WB has a giant man who plays a Greek god in another movie in a child's game movie is just weird and unstable. It seems they're just grabbing popular actors, not actually trying to make the movie good.

To be fair we don't know the full story. It could of been a really long shoot, that person could of been failing their lines constantly. I mean it doesn't really excuse bad behavior, but if your stuck on a single scene for like 6 hours because the idiots put into the movie I could understand the anger. Given the utter lack of quality in this movie from the trailer, I can imagine a lot of bad production going on during it.

When they added Steve to Smash Bros it broke the Internet Literally and the game. I'm surprised that it's getting more dislikes than Snow White is and that is a shit show. Well, nah, i'm on Jason's side. Out of all this garbage of a trailer he was the only good part. He actually acted, had character and tried, while all the other cast walks in frame with a dead face, and say their cringy lines with little to no emotion. I think its obvious, that Momoa saw that on set, and over time it got him snapped. After all it's really annoying, when you do your best, while yo collegues don't even try, yet all of you get blamed the same. 😢
My brother told me that Jason was a douche IRL. Looks like he was right. My brother told me he would destroy Amber Heard's stuff whenever she would upset him in any way, like ripping up her books and stuff. He said the staff actually had to create some kind of green screen to hide her stuff behind so it wouldn't be destroyed when he was having one of his tantrums.

To my understanding on Steves textures in-game and his appearance in most advertising, Steve is either Black or extremely tanned. Also he should be built like the Doom Slayer. Steve should be Jacked and Black, not played by Jack Black. Also Steve has a goatee.

@@MrWarthog Mario is Italian and his creators are Japanese. Notch likely chose for Steve to have a dark skin color because he chose to. It's as simple as that. Just because someone is Swedish doesn't mean they can't make a non Swedish character.
This is why a multi-billion dollar film industry shouldn't have a reality tv guy such as David Zaslav to be in charge of the company.
So many good and promising projects have been canned meanwhile this movie somehow got accepted and now it's became a massive train wreck.

Though, he can have just wanted the movie to be done and not want her recast, as that would force everyone to do more work. I suppose wanting her to stay in the role for that reason could still be read as "support" I guess.

I dont care that there's Live Action used, I care that the actors show enthusiasm and them actually putting effort into being truly Minecraft, Jack looking like really Steve and the Pig & other creatures not look like nightmare fuel abominations. Seriously the Sonic movies showed us that & it is the execution, not the concept.
It's jarring to see people on UA-cam making better Minecraft fan-trailers than Warner Bros' official Minecraft Movie trailer, you'd wish the movie looked fully animated and done with care like in the fan-trailers.
I think the best thing they could have done was just...NOT MAKE THIS A THING. Minecraft is a plotless sandbox, a virtually infinite collection of thematic digital legos that creative people can make absolutely amazing landscapes and structures with. You jump in, set your own goals, and while away the hours in a (generally) relaxing environment doing...whatever you want. What story needed to be told in a feature film context? Who WANTED a feature film of Minecraft? Nobody plays it for anything remotely resembling a plot, they play it for the same reason people play with lego, or tinker in a workshop--because the act of creation is deeply satisfying to the human psyche.
The whole thing just feels so disgustingly corporate. "What's a popular video game we can make a movie of? Hey, let's flip through the list of what gets streamed the most!" What's next? a Fortnite movie? Oh god, please no...
