You choose "Listen by SQL". In this scanning-mode, you have to adjust the squelch bevor or after starting the scan. Do this by turning the right knob. Under the frequency, you can see the squelch threshold in dB. If yo hit skip, the current frequence or channel will be skipped in the future, so don´t do this 🙂73, Bernhard
Very nice radio got it two months ago, still learning. However i find the encoders a bit flimsy, they are already a bit wobbly they could have done a better job for the price and have bnc connectors instead of sma. Thanks for all the videos you posted they surely help .
My DSP1 has no scanning function, but it is not so bad, because I think, it is only useful for air-band, which I am not so interested in. And of cource for police and fire brigade radio, but these have been digitized here in Germany. 🙂
@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones I don't know, how it works with a long wire. I use it from the beginning with the MLA30+ and I am very very satisfied with it.
It is such an amazing radio, my days, wireless, it is just brilliant.
Yes

I think for price it works excellent
I think the scan function would be more useful on NFM, for example, to find transmissions between between 144-146 in 12.5 kHz steps.
Yes
Mine has just arrived and I have a lot to learn! Have you managed to sort out the scan function yet? Thanks for your videos by the way!
Olny what u see but made loads videos should help u .
In this video you don’t seem to be getting the Malahit to scan. Is there another video where you do get the scan function to work ? Many thanks
