Transforming Vintage Furniture Set with Paint & Stain

I NEVER get freebies, but this set was one of them and quite the set it is. This vintage Drexel set from the Malay collection was in great condition, the bamboo motif is back in style and my task was to give it a timeless new look. I chose the color Safari Jacket from the one hour enamel line by wise owl paint, beacuse it is the color of...bamboo. Then I gave this a dark wood to and dark hardware for contrast with a bamboo themed detail inside. The final look is clean and classic for several more decades of use
