- Learn how to spot a Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait De Perfum fake. Scent wise, the fake's fragrance was pretty close to Baccarat Rouge on initial spray but it had 0 longevity and after a few minutes the fragrance smelt super flat. You know your bottle of Baccarat Rouge is real if it lasts at least 16h on your skin and clothes and everyone can smell the fragrance strongly. It's the strongest fragrance in my collection together with being the longest lasting.

He insisted that the perfume is original and his sister got it from Latvia and then when i insisted and told him the differences as per your video, he backed and said that i was a fool to think that a perfume on ebay would be original, when it’s sold with half its original price!
I'm sorry dear but that's the code for ebay. He shouldn't have told you it's the original but you left him no choice. EBay reads all message. It's common sense though hun, if the item is new why would you expect to buy it for half the price or less for a BR540.. you will NEVER GET A Authentic new BR540 for $90- $100 not possible.

Sucks how they make these fakes, i bought one unknowingly but got a refund eventually seller is still up and running on etsy unfortunately , whats funny is that the fake in this video has the same exact batch number that this seller is currently selling on etsy. Trying to see how to report them so they can’t continue scamming people.

Hello, I seen several videos that the perfume comes with the little book inside perfume box,but mine did not came with it,it was missing,also I notice the the scent does not last . Is this normal? Unless I got a bad batch,cause I pirchase it directly from maison francis website.

The newer batch has a QR code at the bottom of the box. Also the fire in the flammable logo is in a diamond instead of a square.

The J is always a dead giveaway on the fakes, you would think they would've 'fixed' that by now 😂😂
The color of the original box is a darker and more rich shade of red. And that goes for the text on the bottle, as well.
That’s only noticeable when the two are next to each other.

Currently in an on going dispute over one I bought off depop she says it’s real but straight away I knew it wasn’t the smell was off, the quality of the bottle was poor and after watching this it’s clear to see I’ve been scammed but PayPal are currently investigating

Never smelled this, but I had Al Haramain Amber Oud Rouge (Dupe of Baccarat 540 Extrait De Parfum) & I LOVE it!!!! So beautiful & lasts forever. I can't afford the OG, but I have Barakkat Rouge 550 Extrait delivering today 🙏🏼🙏🏼🤞🏼😭. I will be judging it off of the experience i got from the AL Haramain Amber Oud Rouge 🫥🫠

I see no difference except for the letters smh. They were probably even made in the same factory
The fake also is painted and with white tissue & little fragrance juice , it will show runny red paint. I wonder what the smell is like.? The fake tester from Jomashop smells like pure alcohol. A shame because Jomashop only charged me $162 usd & they have always sent authentic perfumes in the past 😢

Yep. They're almost identical and thats rare for a clone. One of the main differences you can find it in the wrapping. But beside that it's very very accurate.

But you can't always tell real from fake just by the box. The boxes change and are not always the same for each release prints. Also, now the newer perfumes have a QR code but it only started recently so if you have an older perfume, it won't show a QR code. It's mainly in the smell you can tell the difference, and the Chinese fakes are awful.

Is it me or does the letter “j” in Kurkdijan seems to stand out as looking different? The way the foil lettering is applied is different but i think that’s only apparent when side by side.

I purchase from Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, or of course directly from Maison Francis Kurkdjian. I ordered a fake from an online store for $69 just to see how close they were. It definitely smelled like rain water. 😂
Ah.... the scammers obviously saw all the videos indicating the signs of a fake MFK.... Before You could easily spot it just by looking at the letter "J" in "KurkidJan", or look at the color of the cap's interior, or the sign of "flamable" at the botom of the bottle. Now they fixed all those and it's harder to spot the fake one... WE SHOULD STOP pointing at the mistakes :D
Please do me a favour here cos I really don't get it. What significant difference is there,cos here in Nigeria the shops wouldn't open and allow you go through all that to know if it's fake or not. Atleast I should be able to look at the sealed case and know.
You just have to look really close! Best bet is to guy at a legitimate online retailer and have it shipped or buy from MFK website directly
