- It's day 6 of the Dexcom G7 week here. Today, I am discussing the G7 app itself; new features including Silence All; new fonts and much more.

Is the data still sent to apple health with an artificial delay of 3 hours ??? (this is the case with the G6 - and I hate that restriction). I wanted to use apple health as a data source, but 3h old data has not much use :-(
Dexcom likely wants payment to allow developers to access that data in real-time. This is abuse... as it is our data, and it should be immediately available on every possible platform without any restrictions in place.
It's a BIG disappointment that wear time is still only 10 days and also no direct to iWatch. I also bet there is no way to restart a device unlike the G6 so the effective pricing has actually gone up. Yes there are rumors that will be improved but the same rumors were there for the G6 and yet we never saw it. I am a long time Dexcom user but the longer wear time and smaller size of the Libre 3 is going to make the decision even harder on which one to choose...
Android also has a version also? I know you do mainly Iphone. Do you know if anyone has done a review for the android app? I would assume it would be similar. 😅
Switched from libre 2 to g7 it's great, though I had to buy refurb pixel4a. Libre3 not available to UK for some reason unless your doctor says so. So far loving not scanning.
Started G7 today. App is on my applewatch but doesn’t show on face. Any advice
Which face? It shows on a few of my watch faces but the complication doesn’t work with all of them
Thanks for the video it's super nice. I just wish Dexcom could do much better on Android App compatibility, because not all people are using iPhone or Samsung.
Samsung is android though. If it works well with Samsung it should work well with other android devices.
@@gaboshkaboi6885 The situation is Dexcom Android app only works with a certain number of Samsung phones. It cannot work on other android phones, e.g. mine is a Sony, even if I install the apk file it didn't work. I have asked Dexcom, the only way is to buy a new phone.

I'd love to see a video with dexcom G6 vs G7 vs meter (maybe contour?). Also, given that you loop, compatibility with loop.
2 things:
First, please do the Android App for the G7 too please.
Second, on Android and iOS, can you see the individual history of your readings e.g 15 minutes ago it was 7.5 and I don't want to see my history via the graph (its just annoying)
