The worst part is that every accusation they said and every “proof” they had were either false, photoshopped or straight up sus. SM making Lucas apologize so quickly just made everything worst. for being a company that had started Kpop, they cant even handle situations correct. so fucking annoying 🙄🙄
I don't know much why sm made lucas apologize but I ask one of my friends who know about business entertainment industry . She said that there's a reason why sm cannot backup lucas immediately . First, the case is between korean management and label v(china management) . In order to investigate this case , it will took a long time . I am sure that lucas is a victim here but because sm entertainment is an entertainment company, they need to follow the procedure and law in the korea. I am sure they ask and interrogate lucas and they cannot believe 100% on lucas because this is the case related with many victim . So they ask lucas to apologize first due to fans demand . Then, they will proceed with investigation and it will takes a long time . If lucas was proven to be victim then the case will be settled but if lucas is proven to be guilty and if sm is protecting him then there will be a lot more trouble not only for nct but for the whole worker and artist at sm. That is why they play safe by asking lucas to apologize first I think. But I know that lucas is just a victim here . Hope we will see the truth later !

I was never a fan of lucas. But in this scandal I took lucas's side because most of the accusations looked like someone made them up. No actual person came with the accusations like in kris wu's scandal. And sm always made the artist apologize without doing proper investigations in the past too. Fans did sm's job as always

I couldn’t agree more and I am not even a Lucas fan either lol.The fact that nothing lined up with what the accusers were claiming just didn’t seem right? I feel like people started to truly think he was guilty when they saw that a lot of accusers were coming out and claiming all these things about him; as well as when SM made him vaguely apologize. It literally disappoints me that things like this can be bent into “the truth” when they’re really not. It was quite obvious from the start-at least in my opinion-that things were fishy (it was before jalapeño) and many things indicating that these claims about Lucas are false (dates not lining up, fake pictures and etc). Did you guys forget about “innocent until PROVEN guilty”? How can the internet be so stupid?

SM sure is a bchh for not actioning immediately (remember when taeyong had to apologize until dispatch sort of "helped" to debunk his issue) . But MAJORITY of these issues stemmed from malicious people online. Sasaengs are attention seekers who are willing to hurt and fabricate idols (not only lucas) and toxic stans are too dumb to jump on hate bandwagon. With tons of false accusations I can only think that the kpop community is the real TOXIC, PROBLEMATIC BULLIES. Idols are human they can be problematic (we still dont know who they are IRL), there will always be culture differences that may got overstepped, but fans should never forget RESPECT. You hate some idol ignore him/her. Attacking someone just because you hate simply reflects your miserable soul.

i think the problem there wouldn’t be that they were in a relationship, but that she thought they were exclusively sleeping together and may have be a little lax, which he said he wasn’t so. though he didn’t owe her a relationship, if you are sleeping with multiple people, you should be honest about it so all parties can be safe and aware lol that’s the issue there.

We don't consider other than respectful fans in our fandom but unfortunately they still call them nctzen

I think Lucas has been targeted because he's Chinese. These opportunists are riding on the Kris Wu situation and are trying to funnel the public's venom onto another Chinese idol. We all know how saesengs have targeted Chinese idols in the past. SM needs to grow up and protect their artists properly.
Also it must be noted that the people who keep talking about him negatively in this scandal try to put him next to Kris Wu, as if any of this is comparable to what Wu has done

I believe he was framed because of when the accusations were released and where and when he was at the time. It does annoy me that the accusations were released when his song was about to come out. Fans also found that the apology that lucas posted was not really posted by him, but by the company. The msgs posted by him before the scandal was posted by an iphone 12 max pro while the apology wasn't. I'm not really sure if this is true though.

I'm not a NCT fan, but I never believe any accusations that come out of SNS. There are too many saesangs, too many haters, too many fanwars to ever think something as baseless as these accusations could be remotely true...unless concrete, absolute proof is provided. Unfortunately, too many idols get their careers ruined over stupid crap like this. If I were a potential idol, I would think twice about my career choice in light of all this madness.

Actually I'm on Lucas side. Some people out there go with "believe the victim first" theory and thus is how w00jin's career was ruined but after months, he was proven innocent. SM has invested a LOT of money in these idols/groups... it's ludicrous to think they're just idly sitting by when one of their artists is under fire. Just because we don't see action being taken doesn't mean it's not going on behind the scenes. Investigations take time and are not done publicly.
They aren’t doing shit bc they know the accusations are true. They would have sued long ago if he was innocent bc they wouldn’t risk someone to ruin the carrer of their idol for whom they invested a LOT of money.
Instead staying silent is the best to do since there will be always stupid fans believing that their idol is innocent.

If you can imagine, if ongoing investigations we're revealed, the accuser can have a chance to cover up any false claims or figure out a way to change their story. It's like revealing your game plan to the enemy.

If y'all noticed, Lucas' "letter" seems to be dictated by SM. It is so similar to SM's apology statement. Poor guy didn't have a choice. See, I'm no fan of Lucas here. I don't know enough about him, but everything here is so sus and it is so painfully obvious that antis are just making things up. Sad thing is, people easily believe the internet. Worse, Lucas cannot even speak up to defend himself cause if he does, chances are, one wrong word from his mouth and things will get worse. But the WORST thing is - SM ENTERTAINMENT is a huge COWARD. I mean, people call Pledis a bad company, but that company protected their artist, Kim Mingyu, when the same thing (accusations) happened to him. Pledis held Mingyu from speaking while they investigated, they kept the mass updated with the progress in their investigation, and when everything was over, when Mingyu was proven innocent, it was then when Mingyu released his own statement and apologized. Unlike Lucas, tho, he apologized specifically, saying that our actions, although harmless, might still indirectly affect others, so he will improve himself (and try to be more sensitive). Not even long after that, he's being featured in magazines again like nothing happened. THAT'S HOW YOU HANDLE IT. SM should learn a thing from Pledis and stop being such a coward.
(edit) Investigations do take time, but it is their responsibility to keep the fans updated. They shouldn't have let their artist apologize for vague reasons that would only lead to misunderstandings. Their statements should be more precise.

They shouldn't just apologize or let their artist apologize without any explanation. From what I've observed, people are seeing Lucas guilty just because he apologized.

The Kris Wu thing was pretty hushed up... over several years accusations were made and rumours travelled but they were immediately quietened down. Only if you'd been following authentic Chinese accounts who weren't his fans would you see a story here and there. Even now the case gained attention outside China only after it had been brewing for several weeks.
Plus, Kris left the K-pop scene so it wasn't difficult to silence the ongoings.

Since these rumors about Lucas came to light, I've been wondering how he's doing (he looks like a sensitive person in my opinion) and so this situation must be difficult for him.
For the accusers, I've learnt not to trust them so easily since many have come out after different artists and have been proven wrong or they delete their "proof", so I really decided just to wait and see.
And could SM be already on the move to take action against them? I mean, the one that accused of bisexuality was quick to deny allegations because he feared he was gonna get sued, and the girl who deleted her thread also... I don't know. I just hope SM would do something for once.

I used to be lowkey conflicted on who to believe, since i'm a girl and people have said that girls who are on Lucas's side are choosing the wrong side (because there were allegations of assault against him). But after hearing that Woojin (i haven't been updated on him so i didn't know he's been proven innocent for a long time already) and even Garam were proven innocent, i decided that this issue with Lucas is bogus too. You can't tell me that people can't just make up stuff to bring down a person's career. In a community like the kpop community, this shouldn't be so surprising. It's like every year there is an idol who gets accused of the same thing... That's why i'd usually stay neutral.

The timing was just so fishy, he was having a comeback and suddenly all these accusations started coming out, not only that but most of these "evidence" that they provided fans were able to find proof on how they were fake from the editing to the timing to the gift that aren't given by her but another member and Chinese people said that also these statements or messages looks like it's translated and not from someone that knows the language.

Do you even realise how much Hendery and the rest of the WayV members are suffering because of this? WayV's promotional plans have halted, their reputations have been tarnished, they will forever be associated with this scandal. It is very much a big deal if Lucas' actions affect the rest of his members and in this case, they do. Very negatively. He's in a team, he cannot be thinking of just himself. If guilty, there are negative consequences not just for himself, but for the other innocent members too.

I'm so mad at the person who tried to accuse Lucas of being bisexual as someone from the community. I don't care if he is or he isn't irl, that's outing and can be extremely damaging on so many levels given the person outed and the place they live in (and we all know China and Korea aren't really known for being open to LGBTQ people), friends and family circle, and so on. Not to be a company stan but SM has recently handled a similar scandal and people thought they didn't do anything only to hit the culprit with a lawsuit a few months later. What I am saying is, if they immediately denied everything and disproved it these people would delete and go into hiding or simply apologize and get away with it. It is also possible that some things may partially be true (he may have dated one of the girls) and thus denying everything may be damning when suing them if proved otherwise. There is also the how were those photographs obtained which may be handled in private within the company specially if staff are involved. Fans finding proof is great and I am sure SM will be using some of it in the future but you cannot build a case like this against someone in a day and if you believe they are lying and deserve to be punished the best we can do is wait and stop amplifying the rumors the more ridiculous they get.
I'd also like to add Lucas's case is 10x more serious. With the prior case, the idol didn't even need to respond because the post was deleted hours after it was posted, with just a photoshopped pictures and the most horrible drawing of the outline of a "human".
The difference between the two cases is, the prior idol never lost his fanbases, he never lost endorsements or deals and I think he is the one that's suing not SM and he's still referred to as a Cheater.
I hope if this case for Lucas is fake, hopefully he can fight a strong battle to redeem himself very very strong. And I hope he Sue's, cause Lord knows the chances of SM doing that are slim
@@Cheddar-Cheese- I think it was chanyeol's case EXO who had such scandals and it took some time for it to be cleared and they sued the people who fabricated those lies and he was hated cause it was i think an alleged "ex" but SM handled it and i think warned about raising scandals for their artists as they may take legal actions....so for this i think they will eventually sort it but not as quick as fans want to , it takes time and lucas being i vital artist of SM they have to address the fans...
