And will keep on calling their favourites an ace, which triggers me a lot...These kids are causing chaos in the kpop fandoms and ruining the significance and meaning of the titles.

Newer kpop fans need fo understand the difference between 'all rounder' and 'ace' , an all rounder is someone who can sing, dance and rap, an ace is someone who can sing, dance, rap, and actively take part in writing, composing or producing music. He's only behind Chan and Binnie in 4th Gen. He can sing in Adele's key too, and he's never had vocal lessons. I love him ❤️

Correct me if I'm wrong. The reason they call Jungkook an Ace is because he's good at so many different things. Not just with music. He is a black belt in tikwando and so many other things. I am also an ARMY and a STAY, and love both boys.
HAN excels in everything he does. Technical, serious and professional when it comes to his music. People dont take him seriously because they dont know how to seperate the line between him being a funny and dorky person vs him professionally. Members downtalking on him sometimes has made it so that fans also dont consider him that pretty or special. However. If you look at Technicalities alone and work/his art. He exceeds in a huge way. To make it more simple: Members have a huge fan base based on looks and voice. If it purely comes down to that.. people are born with a face or a voice. Even tho Felix and Hyunjin are talented. Most biased people towards them have chosen them because they are 'cute' or has a deep or smooth voice. They were literally born with it. If you look at HAN. the boy wrote lyrics at the age of 13. He started being a part of 3racha at the age of 16. He produced and wrote alot too. He taught himself how to use his voice. He taught himself dance, mindset and he promised himself to work very hard. Considering his stable voice and raps during live performances it is safe to say that he sounds as good as record songs, his voice rarely cracks, it has power in it and sassiness. Not to mention the amount of adlibs and other sounds coming from him that are incorporated into almost all songs of SKZ. Then you have freestyle and him writing songs faster than Changbin and Chan on a regular basis. Even during practice and tours he wrote. You might as well say that most of the lyrics written came from HAN. Whenever he rests, he writes. His mind never stops evolving and producing. Yet he remains humble. Ace doesnt do him justice. Watch a concert and look at how he hypes members up, does adlibs, stage presence, the voice, the raps. He is really different and too bad people mistake his fun and teasing personality for his business when that is nothing to be downplaying. Youngest member of komca 2023. 4 songs behind Changbin currently and 30 songs behind Changbin. HAN is my bias because of raw talent. Not just because he looks cute
To me an ACE is an artist that could literally have a successful career solely in one area alone because they excel that highly. Han could have a: singing career rapping career dance/performance career songwriting (lyrics & composition)/producer career And there would be no need for an overlap between any of those. Han Jisung is a K-Pop ACE, not just the 4th Gen ACE or an all-rounder.
I agree with all of the things said here. While I am STAY so I might be a little biased when it comes to this I think the ace title is overused. Many idols are all rounders there’s no doubt about that but just because an idol is an all rounder and amazing at singing, dancing, and rapping doesn’t make them an ace. Like with skz for example all members are all rounders imo not all members are ace’s.

Until recently I didn’t know Jungkook was considered an Ace. Tbh I don’t care much about other groups than Skz, I listen to their music but that’s it. But I was talking to an Army the other day and they said they don’t see how Jungkook is called an ace if Han Jisung does what he does. Jungkook can do everything, but Han does everything to perfection. Nobody questions if Jungkook is really talented but it is questionable if he really is the best.

And not all of skz members are all-rounders either, imo. Stray Kids are the only 4th gen bg that I stan btw. The only other bg that I stan is INFINITE, a 2nd gen group. So my standards for vocals are high becuz of them.

Soyeon might be an ace but the problem is, I haven’t seen her vocals/high notes, normally Minnie and Miyeon has them (which they always slay) but I want soyeon to have a high note a lot more.
soyeon is for sure an all rounder but i don’t think she’s an ace. she excels in rapping and vocals however her dancing isn’t that strong compared to others. (G)I-DLE isn’t a dancing based group so their choreography isn’t that strong such as other groups (itzy, blackpink, etc..) however her dancing is decent so she should at least be considered as an all rounder. an all rounder is somebody that is decent in all aspects (rapping, vocals, dancing, etc..) while an ace is somebody that EXCELS in all aspects (rapping, vocals, dancing, etc..)
There are actually very few Aces of k-pop. I don't know BTS as well but I can see why people say Jungkook is an Ace. I know he can sing, dance and compose songs, but I haven't heard him rap but that doesn't mean he can't I just haven't heard him. So if you say he is a Ace i will go with that. The one thing that gets me is the new generation always forgets about the older generations. People always forgets about G-Dragon who was the king ace of k-pop, and to me once a king always a king. he can rap, write, dance and also has an amazing vocals like a main vocalist. He is super creative. To me Han and G-Dragon are the one and only Aces of k-pop. the king and the prince aces of k-pop. ❤💛

All rounder is an idol that can just do everything not excel at everything and if they do excel in all then they’re all rounder bc they can not write/produce/compose. An ace like Han and Jungkook are those who literally EXCEL at all AND are songwriters/composers/producers. People like Jennie,Asa, ahyeon, Heesung,kyujin, Karina,yeonjun, yeji are NOT aces. Titles being thrown around everywhere is lowering the meaning and standard of it “ace/ it girl or boy…etc.”
I would not place JK and Han on the same level. JK might be slightly better at dance than Han but JK is definitively not near the same level in production nor rap. Also in my opinion, Han's voice over the years has been more dynamic over the years than JK's. JK is one of the most talented idols in his generation nevertheless.

The one ACE I’m aware of from 5th Gen is ENAMI ASA I’m not glazing bm here but Asa is an ace, she’s made her own song, took part in composing batter up, wrote her own rap in BU and has done more She is ver fast rapper and one of if not the best in 5th Gen. people say she’s even better than Ruka in dance which is saying something. One small correction : she wrote rap part and full outro of batter up both in Korean and jp ver..those two are highlights of the song.. without any professional training she can sing well ..she is hella talented .❤

Changbin is the main rapper of the group even Stray Kids including Han recognizes that so you saying he is the best rapper in SKZ is not correct. Now depending on whose flow you prefer your choice as best rapper could be Han or Changbin but Changbin is mostly recognized as the rapper of the group even outside of the fandom and definitely one of the best rappers in kpop and though Changbin has an amazing singing voice and is an all rounder Han is recognized as an Ace by the SKZ's members and even outside the fandom not Changbin.

He started being a part of 3racha at the age of 16. He produced and wrote alot too. He taught himself how to use his voice. He taught himself dance, mindset and he promised himself to work very hard. Considering his stable voice and raps during live performances it is safe to say that he sounds as good as record songs, his voice rarely cracks, it has power in it and sassiness. Not to mention the amount of adlibs and other sounds coming from him that are incorporated into almost all songs of SKZ. Then you have freestyle and him writing songs faster than Changbin and Chan on a regular basis. Even during practice and tours he wrote. You might as well say that most of the lyrics written came from HAN. Whenever he rests, he writes. His mind never stops evolving and producing. Yet he remains humble. Ace doesnt do him justice. Watch a concert and look at how he hypes members up, does adlibs, stage presence, the voice, the raps. He is really different and too bad people mistake his fun and teasing personality for his business when that is nothing to be downplaying. Youngest member of komca 2023. 4 songs behind Changbin currently and 30 songs behind Changbin. HAN is my bias because of raw talent. Not just because he looks cute
To me an ACE is an artist that could literally have a successful career solely in one area alone because they excel that highly.
Han could have a:
singing career
rapping career
dance/performance career
songwriting (lyrics & composition)/producer career
And there would be no need for an overlap between any of those.

I agree with all of the things said here. While I am STAY so I might be a little biased when it comes to this I think the ace title is overused. Many idols are all rounders there’s no doubt about that but just because an idol is an all rounder and amazing at singing, dancing, and rapping doesn’t make them an ace. Like with skz for example all members are all rounders imo not all members are ace’s.

Until recently I didn’t know Jungkook was considered an Ace. Tbh I don’t care much about other groups than Skz, I listen to their music but that’s it.
But I was talking to an Army the other day and they said they don’t see how Jungkook is called an ace if Han Jisung does what he does. Jungkook can do everything, but Han does everything to perfection. Nobody questions if Jungkook is really talented but it is questionable if he really is the best.

And not all of skz members are all-rounders either, imo. Stray Kids are the only 4th gen bg that I stan btw. The only other bg that I stan is INFINITE, a 2nd gen group. So my standards for vocals are high becuz of them.

(G)I-DLE isn’t a dancing based group so their choreography isn’t that strong such as other groups (itzy, blackpink, etc..) however her dancing is decent so she should at least be considered as an all rounder. an all rounder is somebody that is decent in all aspects (rapping, vocals, dancing, etc..) while an ace is somebody that EXCELS in all aspects (rapping, vocals, dancing, etc..)
There are actually very few Aces of k-pop. I don't know BTS as well but I can see why people say Jungkook is an Ace. I know he can sing, dance and compose songs, but I haven't heard him rap but that doesn't mean he can't I just haven't heard him. So if you say he is a Ace i will go with that. The one thing that gets me is the new generation always forgets about the older generations. People always forgets about G-Dragon who was the king ace of k-pop, and to me once a king always a king. he can rap, write, dance and also has an amazing vocals like a main vocalist. He is super creative. To me Han and G-Dragon are the one and only Aces of k-pop. the king and the prince aces of k-pop. ❤💛
Jungkook rapped a lot in BTS' older songs. He also stands in for the main rappers and often does their parts if they can't be there.

Han and Chang Bin are my favorites.
The difference between ace and all rounder is huge. All rounder is an idol that can just do everything not excel at everything and if they do excel in all then they’re all rounder bc they can not write/produce/compose. An ace like Han and Jungkook are those who literally EXCEL at all AND are songwriters/composers/producers. People like Jennie,Asa, ahyeon, Heesung,kyujin, Karina,yeonjun, yeji are NOT aces. Titles being thrown around everywhere is lowering the meaning and standard of it “ace/ it girl or boy…etc.”
I would not place JK and Han on the same level. JK might be slightly better at dance than Han but JK is definitively not near the same level in production nor rap. Also in my opinion, Han's voice over the years has been more dynamic over the years than JK's. JK is one of the most talented idols in his generation nevertheless.

Changbin is the main rapper of the group even Stray Kids including Han recognizes that so you saying he is the best rapper in SKZ is not correct. Now depending on whose flow you prefer your choice as best rapper could be Han or Changbin but Changbin is mostly recognized as the rapper of the group even outside of the fandom and definitely one of the best rappers in kpop and though Changbin has an amazing singing voice and is an all rounder Han is recognized as an Ace by the SKZ's members and even outside the fandom not Changbin.
