Here in India it's monsoon season and my family loves to eat aalu pakoras which is sliced potatoes dipped in a batter made by gram flour, water, chilli powder, salt and cumin seeds. We dip the potato slices into the batter and fry them in oil. Served with mint chutney and chai (regular tea)

I'm from Poland and for us autumn means apples, pears and late plums :) So we bake a lot with them, and we also make preservatives and chutneys. We even preserve them (especially pears) with sugar and vinegar syrup which makes them perfect addition to different kinds of meat all year long! :)

Not only conchas, but pan de muerto or "hojaldras", and pan de fiesta too with chpurrado o café de olla. And for food we have pozole, chalupas, chiles en nogada, and so much more in this season of the year.

I am from Bulgaria and in the fall we eat a type of Strudel made with crispy, buttery filo dough and cinnamon apple filling (or pumpkin). My grandma makes her delicious rolls with rosehip jelly and walnuts. Rosehip jelly is very common here, it's a bit tangy but also sweet, I have never had it homemade. Another popular fruit in the fall is quince. We make poached quince or quince pie. I would love to see you recreate one of these recipes with your delicious and sweet imagination. Lots of love

Hi Laura I’m from Australia and we’ve just entered spring. I don’t believe there are any popular Australian food traditions throughout autumn but I’m Italian and we enjoy all the things we’ve made during summer like the beautiful fresh sauce we make, homemade wine, olive oil etc. I think in autumn we’re all still soaking up the long sunny days and having bbq’s with our loved ones, drinking a cold one and dreading winter!
    Love from down under! X

I’m in the U.S. but autumn to me is apples....anything apple! Baked apples, pork chops with apples and onions, homemade apple sauce. And my moms goulash! I love cooking and eating this time of year especially and in the Spring because of the abundance of fresh and flavorful produce! I also think Fall means like pot roast and root vegetables. Oh and soups, I start making and freezing soups, so easy and fun! Yes, I love pumpkin stuff too but Fall cooking is using my oven and stove a lot more than in the summer. Also, VERY cool feature with the barcode recipes, that’s awesome! These snickers cookie bars look amazingly delicious! YUM! Thank you for your high quality videos and wonderful recipes! It's hurricane season here in Barbados, mango season pretty much just finished, breadfruit are putting in a repeat appearance, so there's going to be plenty pickled, roasted, boiled and mashed (aka coucou). Coconuts are always around for sugar cake ( candied shredded coconut), & coconut bread.

Hello, I am a Bedouin from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
And there is a popular winter food here, which is (AL-ASEDDAH) or porridge
    Porridge is:
considered a porridge of sweets or popular dishes famous in many Arab countries as it occupies a special place for social occasions, and it is one of the main meals in the regions of southern and eastern Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Sudan, and the components of porridge differ from one region to another in Sudan made from income flour or wheat flour In Tunisia and Libya, it is made from wheat flour cooked with water. It was presented in the celebration of the Prophet’s Birthday and Newborn’s Week. It is presented in the form of a hemisphere and is eaten by hand.
    thanks for all your video

In norway we eat Fårikål in the autumn :) . Fårikål (Norwegian pronunciation: [foːrɪkɔl]) is a traditional Norwegian dish and also considered the national dish of the country. Consisting of pieces of mutton with bone, cabbage, whole black pepper and often a little wheat flour, cooked for several hours in a casserole, traditionally served with potatoes boiled in their jackets. The dish is typically prepared in early autumn.

Soups! Any kind of soup minestrone soup, clam chowder, seafood soup. There nothing better than a warm bowl of soup and freshly baked bread. It would be amazing if you did a soup series!

Laura, I live in Illinois but Polish decent and when my mother was alive we like to make sour kraut and freeze it into enough for one meal and we also but some in jars so it lasted all winter. I made it last week and I have it for meals now. My big thing is baking, but I tried many recipes and my whole family loves them..the pizza after Thanksgiving with pita bread I can't make enough..I make them out and freeze them and my 2 brothers clean my freezer. I think I made at least 200 of them the last time you post after Thanksgiving,

I'm in Michigan and, while I am on board the pumpkins spice train, Fall for me is the time for apple and sweet potato desserts (pie, cake, etc).
    Btw, the bars look heavenly.

I am not fan of snickers candy bars, however, I do like the ice cream.. so I may like this. My husband and our kids will enjoy this. Thank you, Laura. Keep me in your prayers. I am hoping a food truck next year and I’m planning on trying out for MasterChef. ♥️

Hi Laura! I'm from Victoria BC Canada. But I did live in Ontario Canada for a long time. In the fall it's the sap from the trees which of course is maple syrup. And Canada bacon. Neither one I can have but apple pie or apple crisp is a very big thing on the island where I live. Apple cider apple pie pumpkin pie pumpkin pie spice blend I make a lot of that. I do all my own Blends I make my own poultry seasoning for you know turkey and Thanksgiving and Christmas Etc. I make all my own Blends everything. So my place smells like spices sausage bacon apple pies and scented candles. I really love the scented candles. Oh and I make my own soap! I'm a great cook and I make a lot of good things. And shipping packages I'm always getting something from Amazon oh, I've had your book now for about I guess a year 2 years. I love it! So those are the smells in my home and the things I look forward to leaves changing colour, we go to the cottage for anniversary were married September 10th we've been together 32 years the smell of a fire oh my goodness wonderful. Fall is my favourite time of the year and Christmas course because that's my birthday two days before. Thank you for sharing your espe so joyfully you're absolutely gorgeous I think the world of you God bless your family XXX Willow Sage

Love Snickers so I’m definitely trying this recipe. I’m from Texas so Pecan Pie is a favorite in our house. That and my husband’s favorite since he is German, he loves apple strudel too!
