my fav things I worked on as a Sports Reference data intern

Top of head reveal?? Here are my top 3 favorite projects from my summer as a data intern at Sports Reference! (one of my most fav ones is still yet to be released!)
Most of my projects involved doing some research online and writing SQL code to update the Basketball Reference database. I learned a lot about SQL and database structure as a result!
If you're interested in being a Sports Reference intern, your best bet is to follow them on Twitter, LinkedIn, etc, so you know when the application is open! For me, having a portfolio of data projects (my videos) helped a lot in my application. Having some way to demonstrate your passion and ability to do the work will set you apart!

they had projects for us to work on, I don’t think I would have been able to do anything if I was asked to only come up with my own projects
