And if you don't mind me asking, what pound test should I gear up for braided line? I usually go with 20-30 lb test, but for Cabo would you recommend more? 40 perhaps?

I've been to your store in Cabo a couple of times and have great luck with your lures not just in Mexico, but in far off places like Thailand too. I am gonna be in cabo August. What’s my chances of catching a rooster fish if I bring my own gear and fish in the surf? I won’t have a lot of time because our stop will be from a cruise ship.
Not great, in August the fishing will be just north of Cabo, you would need a car or guide to take you there. Also, if you are on a cruise ship, you'll come in in the bay, not really any place to fish there that's good.
The Spanish site, www.jansen.mx is working. Since we can’t ship out of Mexico yet, I will wait to re-activate the English site until I have a distributor up north again.
