In this video I am fishing in front the Hard Rock hotel in Cabo San Lucas. The mullet are inshore in big numbers and jacks and roosters are going crazy!
Thx for posting these vids! I was staying at the Hard Rock in December and caught a small Rooster and several needlefish…thanks for what you do. Stopped by your store and loaded up on lures…thx again. You guided me around 2008…time flies.
Thanks Mike! Wow, time does fly....Thats was probably one of my last trips, I actually recently started guiding again, small groups only, ideal 2 anglers. I don't want to turn my customers loose on the beach with a rod in their hand. Right now we are working casting techniques, lure presentation and how to read the water. I'm really enjoying guiding again.
I came out there before and was unprepared for what amazing shore fishing there is. Coming back in June. Won’t make that mistake again. I definitely need to get some of those lures as soon as I get there. Thanks for being detailed in your descriptions of what the lures are called, what they weigh, and how to use them.

Together with your cameraman, you guys capture some great fishing from the beach (and what a location to do so.. Cabo, in your T-shirt and shorts) and you help put the viewer in the mix. Like I've mentioned to you before, Rooster fishing is definitely on my bucket list. When possible, I will reach out but until that adventure comes, I will continue to enjoy your videos.
We stay at the RIU Baja California and I cross the highway to get to the store, across from Walmart. I had the pleasure of meeting you in November 2020. I noticed pelicans close to shore even though the mullet weren't breaking the water so I tried at sunrise. One morning I got 2 respectable Jacks and a nice Sierra. The next morning I got another Jack and a Pez Gallo (Rooster). Just walked out the resort and started casting on the beach before the crowds. Same morning, the Biologists were out checking a sea turtle nest as they were hatching. Love Cabo, Support the Economy, and Tip Generously!

We stopped by your new store at the Walmart plaza and spent a little money 💵, had to buy a couple of Cabo killers and a shirt, great looking store with lots of fishing stuff. Maybe catch up with you my next time down. I normally stay at the marina but I’m gonna look at the hard rock.

Thanks Steph, I know...Thats exactly the reason why it's been so long, freaking pandemic really screwed things up. They had our beaches closed and we were on lockdown for a long time. This year we will be back at it though!!
Legendary 🤘 im in Costa Rica right now and tried surf fishing alot. 3 blackfin tuna from the Rocks now. However never saw big fish Luke this so close. Any tips? Im using navionics to Find places on the Beach with enough depth. And try looking for Those baitsfish but only saw them once

Thanks Steph, I know...Thats exactly the reason why it's been so long, freaking pandemic really screwed things up. They had our beaches closed and we were on lockdown for a long time. This year we will be back at it though!!
Legendary 🤘 im in Costa Rica right now and tried surf fishing alot. 3 blackfin tuna from the Rocks now. However never saw big fish Luke this so close. Any tips? Im using navionics to Find places on the Beach with enough depth. And try looking for Those baitsfish but only saw them once
