Taking my 10 yrs old little girl here for her birthday this weekend. Can't afford Disneyland sadly. At least it's around the neighbor and looks so much fun. Ticket isn't bad either. She's super excited🥰
Enjoy it while you can. 10 years old is pushing it for a seseme street theme park. By 12 they won’t want to be caught dead there, let alone at LEGO land. This park will have a problem that kids over 7 won’t want to be seen there but the age it’s marketed to isn’t really into water parks. They’ll need a rethink.
Honestly I think if I were a little kid this would be my favorite place on Earth. It's kinda sad that Aquatica had to be sacrificed, though most of the slides are still there if you can swallow your pride a little bit lol. A sesame street dark ride would make this park perfect 👌
I don't think it's the fact that Disney needs to "step up" in theming but perhaps "step down" in pricing. This park looks great for a place that is currently only pricing at $65 a person. Special events in the Happiest place on earth can spike up to $200.
@@engebretson85 While you make a good point, we both know that a price DECREASE will never happen, especially as long as guests still buy tickets. The only thing we can hope for is more value for the current price--but it seems that extra value is increasingly being put behind a paywall.
lol, doubt Disney is worried about this place. There is a lot of detail put into Disney. This looks more like a pumpkin patch. But I'm sure kids love it. But its definitely not going to affect Disneyland.
@@lovely12660 While I agree that this isn't Disney-level theming, it is giving young families more affordable options for themed entertainment. Disneyland, California is primarily a family theme park (since it isn't strictly aimed at younger audiences or the thrill-seeking crowd), so while I agree that Disney is unlikely to see a dent in demand any time soon due to places like these, I do believe the dent is still there.
My 6 and 7 year old sisters visited there back in the spring when it opened(there’s a 20 year age gap between me and them). And they had a great time and won’t stop talking about it . I’m not even joking, it’s months later and I’m baby sitting them tonight and they told me they miss sesame place and want to go back. Never saw the original park, family was poorer when I was a kid and I never got to do theme parks, so I’m happy the target age range can enjoy this place
at first, they said it was geared toward autistic children- then they must have finally figured out autism affects only 2.3% of all kids....so now, ALL kids will love it.
@@HONEYHEIST The closest I can think of is the Bahia Resort Hotel. It's a really nice place, and they've updated a lot over the years, but for the good! The one and only time I visited was with my family when I was a little kid-- sometime between 1996 and 1998, either for a relative's birthday being held at the hotel, or it might've been a wedding... I don't quite remember! But what I *do* remember is Belmont Park being a quick little walk away from The Bahia, and walking there with my mom, dad, and younger brothers. SeaWorld is like a ten minute drive from the resort-- everything is pretty close over there. They have Bay Side rooms, where you can book a room and walk right out to a secluded little part of Mission Bay that the Bahia owns, and you have your own little cabana that you can use when you rent the room!
don't have any kids of our own (but of course I was a big fan when I was younger) but I was curious to see what they had here, this was neat to see! the names of the attractions were all great too, lol.
Looking good 👍🏼 wow sea world u did something good out here in Chula Vista. Looks clean and my twins love working here. There first real job and they say all the staff there team is good people and fun to work there everyone is so nice. My kids are in high school so they are excited to work for a cool place. Big changes to this place. I remember when it was called White Water Canyon ya I am old. It looks great now 👍🏼 I am sure you guys will gets lots of people though out every summer and some of October for the mechanical rides I like 👍🏼
It looks like a GoPro Hero 10 given how saturated the colors are, how smooth the footage is, and how wide it is (but wonky distortion at certain angles).
I think that in order to do a proper Sesame Street theme park you need Dark rides and animatronics which this park has neither. It's probably too expensive for this park to have them.
It’s a bad rebrand, however. Sesame Street only appeals to the littlest of kids. The olders, for which water parks are an appeal, won’t want to be seen there because of the theme. Its limiting their audience.
Sea World was smart to create this place. I love how Sesame Place strictly caters to a younger crowd where kids know all the characters and songs!! I can’t wait to take my kiddos. Disneyland would make even more of a profit if they would ever make a land or a park dedicated to Disney Jr. No one under 8 knows any of the characters at Disney except Mickey and Friends. The area for kids have rides like Peter Pan, Snow White and such but none of my kids grew up on these characters.
So many mistakes. Who designed this? Oppressive black fencing around rides in the middle of the path! No shade beyond random umbrellas. So. Much. Brown. Great video! Bad park design. Especially the funnel slide just kinda shoved off to the side of the flats and away from all the other slides. So many bad decisions have been made here. I desperately want to edit it in Planet Coaster.

For a second I was thinking you meant some Sesame version of Darth Vader😅😅😅 but it sounds awesome, though!
I'm always glad to see more theming showing up in non-Disney parks...maybe it'll convince Disney that they need to step up their own game.

This video helped me a lot since I’m going to Sesame for a Field trip in my class! Thank u 👍👍
Someday, I hope to go to Sesame Place! It looks like so much fun!
It’s great so see an amusement park aimed more at little kids

Yea just to make seaworld lose money, it used to be for all ages lol
I must say: it looks perfect for the audience it’s made for! Thank families will have an awesome day here🤌🏼
What hotel/resort is close by ?

I love it! So much, that I work there! 😂
Ok 👌
Thanks! You just saved me $90!
This is really perfect! Now the kids will really like this new area!
Considering a season pass, thanks for this video!
I wouldn’t
Definitely,taking my kids there
Its so weird to see slides just in the park, how does it work? Do you have to change constantly if you want to go from ride to slide
6:51-7:05 What’s the song in the background?
Hope 1 day i can go travel to America , Love from Malaysia 🇲🇾🤩😍🥰

My nephews would love this place
Looks like they’ve done a really nice job with that.
Definitely going to check it out soon! Thanks for sharing
Do you think this is the typical crowd on any given weekday? We’re planning to take our 5 y.o. To a theme park but don’t wanna be stuck in long lines.
Don’t go, the lines are long and this waterpark got remodeled to look worse lmao
Awesome!!! 👍😎
So its a water theme park. Do i need to pay separate to ride the rides?
Cool but where’s the shade 🥵
now I really cant go here because its not geared towards my age group, and Soak City is too far away to be visiting alot during the summer
Great video
On Friday I might go I think
Is this for adults as well or mainly for children?
So cute!
Will be there tomorrow celebrating my niece 2nd birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈
Was it fun ? Did they have rest areas?
Party
🎉🎉🎉
0:47 the orangish building on the left makes me think of the sesame street land in the seaworld theme park
What a beautiful new park
Cool 😎 mate 👌
5:58 you can hear the song “do de rubber duck”
Thanks good video but no fisheye lens next time please.
What! No oscar's wacky taxi???
I am actually close to sesame place and I went on every ride except the show
Does look interesting but admission prices seems unrealistic. I liked the old low-rent aquatica, year passes were a bargain.
Sesame Street MVS Stronger Together
This is more of a Waterpark turned Sesame Place. The Sesame Place in Pennsylvania is nothing like this.
Why not?
Exactly! I feel like I wasted my money for Spring Break for a water park when it’s not hot enough to get soaked and wet smh
Yes this is not a new park. It was always a water park. I believe SeaWorld bought it and changed it to Sesame place.
What hotel did you stay at when you stayed here ?
I would so play in big bird's beach.

Beautiful park very nice where exactly is it?
It's in Chula Vista, the former location of Aquatica, the neighboring city of San Diego before the Mexico border
@@tennojiberri And before Aquatica, it was Knott's Soak City.
@@calebstatzer8878 Didn't knew there was another Soak City in SD county before!
What a fantastic theme park 👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸
it's cool but i don't get the premise with the water rides and the dry rides... do you like go on rides shorts or something?
Is it even hot enough out their for spring break to be in the water? Is it heated?
Why did they have to change aqutica for this i do like it but couldn't they make it somewhere else and keep aqutica like the old aqutica was better
But it does look alot of fun
i hate seein it so empty🥹it looks good for the audience they made it for though. hope they get more crowds in summer🙏🏾
Probably the name scares those 12 and up away
I went there
Did you stay in a hotel? If so which one? I’m trying to find a good , safe hotel
Hi good morning ♥️♥️♥️
Def for ages 2-11 after that they want bigger and better
Can babies ride on the rides?
What time was the Sesame Street parade?
which camera did you shoot with?

No. Everyone of all ages can go on it.
