    Playful colorful blazer
    Another solid neutral blazer
Six solid bottoms that match the colorful blazer
Nine tops that match at least two bottoms
Four neutral shoes four different styles flat, sandal, heel, bootie, tennis shoe your choice
    A few classic interesting accessories
A couple purses but you could get away with a neutral
Nice business base that should get you through spring.
    Thanks Christie.

Darling! For the last two years, I've watched every video I could find on how to build a capsule wardrobe and you are the only person that has explained how to do It properly. The formula you share made it stress free for me! YEAH!!!
I went back into my wardrobe and OMG! I have so many outfits to choose from now, that I'm overwhelmed with choice. THANK YOU!

Christie, thank you so much for the capsule wardrobe video. I have had a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear. All organized by color and divided into dresses, skirts, blouses and pants. I followed this video and suddenly realized I truly had many outfits I would of never put together. Now everything is organized in the closet by capsules and transitioning in colors and groups. Awesome! Thank you!!!

I love it that you embrace and encourage color in capsules. I follow a few capsule v-loggers because I pack a lot and want to make sure I build on basic foundational pieces, but I become so weary of seeing only grey-black-camel-white-navy. To me, the real creativity comes if you can incorporate color and still make it look on purpose and coherent.

I love the breakdown of color and neutrals in this two module setup!
    2 extra fun, colorful tops
    4 more neutral tops
    1 pink pair of pants
    3 neutral pairs
Of course, I count animal print, browns, navy, white, and black as neutrals so maybe my ratio is off to some people but I just think you've found the perfect balance!!

I’m doing 2 things in 2020with my wardrobe: 1. is having a year long spending freeze because I have a mountain of clothes but I only wear 5 boring outfits most of the time. 2.: I go through all the pieces I have and identify the modules, then with the modules I build capsules for-let’s say-2 months at a time. I’m currently working on my March/April capsule: 7 tops, 3 bottoms, 2 cardigans and 2 jackets. I also added a dress, but after watching this video I seriously considering cutting it into two and make a matching 2 piece set and have even more outfit options with these limited pieces.
Awesome content by the way-as always! 🌟

I love seeing a capsule wardrobe with color and patterns! I’m so sick of seeing the same black, white, and beige capsule wardrobes. To me, that isn’t stylish, it’s boring. Thank you for this!

I'm building my wardrobe on this sort of template. Janice of The Vivienne Files calls it "Whatever's Clean" since every top/topper works with every bottom - you can get dressed in the dark :-). Of course, some combinations will be more pleasing than others, but it certainly takes a lot of stress out of getting dressed or (as mentioned) packing for a trip.

I LOVE your capsule wardrobe modules! I used your concept to make my own 30-piece (5 capsule) wardrobe...enough outfits for a year! I did include dresses, though, and a few skirts than can be worn in 20 different ways. I may be set for 2 years! 😅 Keep up the fantastic work!

I LOVE the idea of capsule wardrobes, but I find myself wanting to wear a completely different look every time I have to physically go to work, which is about two days a week. (I work from home the rest of the time.) So for me, a true capsule is too repetitive. I’ve found that thrifting higher quality (not fast fashion) pieces allows me to wear something different almost every work day and not break the bank. But I’ll definitely be doing capsule for travel (wedding season...sigh).

Hi Christie, I took your classes and color evaluation a few years ago. Since then, I make modules with 3 dresses and two covers for them. Now for regular modules, they have changed my wardrobe and shopping life. Some time I will send pictures of the different outfits I can make with fewer pieces that look by far better than what I started with. Thank you, you have made such a difference!

Love, love , love these capsule videos you post. You have helped me understand how to truly build a wardrobe. I absolutely love your style. It’s very similar to mine. I would love it if you would consider doing a video about how you pick each piece from your closet as you build the capsule. I’d love to see your thought process. I get the concept but I sometimes have difficulty picking all the pieces so that they all mix and match, especially if you are combining more than one module. Looking forward to your next video!!

Hi Christie, Thank you for sharing your tips and suggestions. I am in the midst of an international move so have decided to create capsule wardrobes to help me minimize and be more intentional with the clothes I am keeping. I like how to make the modules; I will try that today. I also love that you are into colours and patterns. I am too so thought capsule wardrobes were not for me. I am off to make some easy and some very hard choices! BTW that printed blazer is AMAZING! The only thing I didn’t love in this capsule wardrobe was the yellow silk/satin shirt. The other shirts looked so great on you but the yellow doesn’t pop as much as the others (which is funny because it is yellow, maybe it is the lighting though). Thanks again for your suggestions!

I tried the capsule wardrobe but I have too many funky artsy pieces I don’t want to get rid of. What i do a couple of times a year is the 10x10 challenge to help me be creative with less pieces and then after, it helps me weed out and reconsider the pieces i have been hoarding for too long, forcing me to rethink them, and “use it or lose it”. I find I’m able to edit down my closet and donate, upcycle or gift the things I’m using less often. 😀😀😀

I'm always impressed with these videos. I mainly wear dresses, so it is hard for me to style it in a difeerent way. Not every dress is made out of a material that I could wear in a summer or with stockings and boots in winter. The other thing is that I like tops with "something special" f.e. puffy sleeves. There is no way to put a blazer on it😂 But I try to follow your rules as much as I can, these are genious for me. Last year I packed that way for my holiday, it made it so fun and easy!

This is a great example! I've always liked the idea of a capsule wardrobe & I definitely think that way whenever I pack for a trip, but I've always been a color lover & far from a minimalist. Color makes it more difficult when it comes to jackets, shoes handbags & accessories since you can't get away with only black or beige. I found I always needed to own brown/tan & navy as well as black, nude & white just to have my basics covered. I wear my prints with white, light blue or khaki in the warmer months & black, grey or burgundy in the cooler months. That seems to work for me & how I get the most use out of my clothes ( with the exception of sweaters which are winter only garments) I'm currently looking for tops in lighter spring green colors or lavender since a lot of my wardrobe is olive & purple/ plum. I'd like lighter versions of those colors in a couple lightweight tops for the warmer months.
I 💜 those high waisted white wide leg trousers you are wearing in this video!

This was so helpful. Thank you. I loved this. I’m trying to create a capsule wardrobe. Will start with the first module and build from there! Thank you Christie.

I adore your capsule method! It makes so much sense and breaks out of the bland mold. xoxo
