In Brazil we call this fried batter "bolinho de chuva" (4:46). This recipe is very famous and classic for the raining days because his format remember raindrops.

Try Kinder Eggs with milk for hot chocolate. I would be very surprised if you've ever nicer hot chocolate.
Just simmer the milk in a saucepan with 3 eggs per cup and stir with a wooden spoon.
Then pour it from a sieve into a second pan, brushing/pushing any solid bits through the sieve with the wooden spoon, then stir and serve.
The wife and I discovered this years ago, it tastes a bit like Max Brenner hot chocolate but nicer.. though very close - and a hell of a lot nicer than anything else out there we've discovered, and we're chocolate fanatics!
