I want to see that what is like to be Mac Pettit. Do I POV video where you wake up. Wash your face and grab the keys. Go for a drive. Order food. Put gas in. Talk to people and get their reactions. Everything POV.
Lol too excited to put it on...started the install.....realized “oh shit I should do this on something softer”..😂
Love that front end, can’t wait for the rear wing install video. Great job brother.
Thanks man! The rear wing video has been a bit tricky, but almost done!
I didn't think the ZL1 1LE front end could look any meaner. Great pairing!
It looks wild, I have some rollers in the next video I am realeasing Saturday; and it just looks so angry lol
Looks good but the splitter rods are supposed to tie into the bumper bar or frame to hold it rigid during high downforce situations. May want to look into doing that instead.
The bumper bar is completely foam; would have to drill into the crash bar; which isn’t feasible, so the best option is to the plastic on the bumper and braced with large washers to keep it from pulling through on the track
In theory I agree with what you wrote but in design it’s limited to how I have it mounted 👍
First time watching your channel. I give you props doing it in an apartment parking lot or at least that’s what it looks like.
That front end it looks mean bad ass I like man congratulations
I think it really tied everything together well, thanks man!
splitter looks beast 👍🏼 congrats
Thanks man! Day by day the car is getting closer to where I want it for sure!
@@macpettit2327 keep up the hard work we supporting from Las Vegas we are also car enthusiasts so we hope we can support each others channel 🙌🏽
So sad..cant put that here in the philippines..its very nice!
Turned out great!
Thanks man! I think it really ties together the front end!
Great job; looks awesome!! 👍
Where did you get the flowtie from?
I thought APR splitters were chassis mounted.
Where did you get the flow tie bro🙏🏼
That’s amazing. Where did you get the new upper grille with bow tie?
Is that a new whole new upper grill or is that the OEM SS grill with the from Chevy emblem?
It's actually the stock SS Grill and I dremmeled out the center to make a DIY Flow Tie
Mac Pettit nice man! I am surprised that it fits your ikon bumper so nicely.
Hi, May I ask you how u remove the front bumber so easy? use the quick latch?
Where did you get that air inlet scoop to the air box?
It's made by Velossa Tech, ton of different colors, have an install video on the channel!
Somehow cannot open up the link to splitter. More info or specific item number on their website??
What upper grill did you use in the video? I have the ikon ZL1 1LE. I need the tie
How did your splitter do on the track? I can't imagine it added enough downforce to balance out the huge wing in the rear.
It didn't, in his track videos the splitter was flapping around because it was not mounted to the chassis
Would this fit for camaro rs 2017?
where do the rods mount into the bumper? thinkign about getting it but wondering how durable it is without chassis mount
There are mounted thru the plastic with washers as a backing so it doesn’t pull thru; taking it out on track next month, we shall see
@@macpettit2327 hey I know by now you tested it. My concern would be the connection points where the rods connect to the bumper. Doesn’t seem like a structural point to anchor to.
How was it on the track. Trying to install mine now. Let me know your thoughts.

@@ct_actual1021 The mounting points actually held up on track, but cracked under pressure entering a driveway, Mounting to the crash bar (I believe) would require longer rods then what are provided.
Also as a note; on track I have pictures of both the left and the right sides of the splitter bending away from the car, obviously not good, to fix it I would recommend chassis mounting the front two, & bolting a support brace underneath
@@macpettit2327 also where did attach the fender “carpet pieces” to. Does that just lay on the carbon fiber? I have a ZL1 so may be a bit different.
Can you do a POV driving
Did just last week, through the mountains with Raw exhaust audio, check out the last video!
anyone else hear the chipmunk singing ?
Link to that splitter bro?
Just added the link to the description!
