Ah I wish I knew that! Going to pin this comment so people can save a bit of time! I'm wrapping the car and installing a front splitter so it had to come of anyway lol
I love my Velossa tech duct. I think I was one the first few to install it. Super easy to do. Make s a bit of a difference on power while to car is rolling.
I just did my install the other day on the 2019 front end style they are a little different. I didn't remove the front bumper either like others in the comments, was a little harder to get the screws installed but was a nice fit and hope it works well on our set ups!
Was really impressed with this piece on the focus rs when I was researching for that car, love the idea and presentation. Now that they have one for the camaro however, is not that easy to see compare to focus rs.
Haven't looked at it too close, but it is probably a little of both. In the stock scenario, the air is sucked in at a slightly lower level but still too close to the engine bay...meaning that there might be a slight gain in air-temperature along it's path. Most CAIs attempt to further isolate the air box from the engine (heat), with varying degrees of success. This thing seems like it not only helps guide fresh air in, but also "aims" the oringal path of the air to/from the front, in-turn "ramming" in the air, especially a higher speeds. I like the concept. It is one that has been done before on stock 4th generation WS6 Trans-ams (and before), but my guess is that from 0-60 MPH it won't have a tremendous effect, especially given the bent path that the air is forced to take.
johnny acabal worst case scenario 2021 1LEs are gonna start coming with the option to get the 10 speed automatic transmission in them if you don’t like driving manual
like the looks so far. why the white snorkel. i just saw this and im thinking just simple black to make it now stand out as much but curious on your choice.
I mean, design alone is well made, the fitment was on point As for the plastic, it’s 3D printed, so yes your right it’s not ABS, but this allows more flexibility on colors Ran one on my Focus RS and took multiple track days and 30k miles of abuse, just trying to share my opinion
This all seems like performance improvements. Let’s see what you can do on the track! Not impressive. Can you drive and make lap times show the results? I highly doubt it.
Check my older videos... the track season is just starting this month...and we compete in Global Time Attack each year, which is May 8th at Road Atlanta
I installed mine without removing my front fascia just had to remove the top radiator cover & hood latch & you can can hear the LT4 whine even more !

@Freddie Pinellas did it go in without any problems? Thinking about ordering one, and did the car feel better?
Great job. Looks easy. But I am very hesitant and just plain ol chicken to take off my bumper😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬…. Thanks for sharing

What color did you go with!
Mac Pettit I did black. I posted up pics on 6th Gen 1LE owners on FB a while back.

What happened to the duct problem in installing the zle bumper? Did the company fix it?
That purple wrap and front canard/splitter looks so sick for that setup. Love the vid man!! Love the project updates👍👍👍👍
Thanks a ton, wrapping a car has proven to be a lot harder then i thought it’d be!

the 2016-208 version looks like it has a much larger opening compared to my 2019 version!
You have to buy and adapt zl1 lateral radiator ducts....
Not more air. Denser air. Cold air is denser than hot air.
Damn you are right! Whooops! All the air!

Him: Its extremly well made.
Product: sounds like cheap plastic.
uhu yea ok

Are these also available for 5th gens?
Unfortunately I think it’s just for 6th
Just mix the blue with the purple
Maybe I missed it, but why is only half of the car wrapped?
Wraps don’t make the car faster, so I don’t care.
Looks like a waste
Nice video. Wasn't aware of that product.
$130 just for a piece of plastic and a few bolts, it better be well-made!
I agree! I just have the ‘mod’ bug and can’t stop from adding parts to this car lol

I’m not finding anything in regards to your Chevy Camaro on the track. Real racers don’t tint. Just saying
@@matthewbrauch Windows need to be down on track anyway?.... we will be out soon enough, stay safe, be well
Just checking to see if I should follow your channel. I’m glad you are the real deal. Hope you’re season proves well for all your hard work.
Skip all this shannigans and put a frickin bottle in it already lol
