I had a sting r on order when the x3 was released and was given the option of either on the release date. I stuck with the r but ,after seeing the positive reviews, am considering an x3 also due to my family constantly riding my r. Great review buddy! Be safe and keep ‘em coming!

Basically we’re in the same position, love our Sting R, saw the remarkable price on the XXX so we right away purchased one for our 11 year old daughter, now our Son has the R and daughter can ride together, definitely need some Moto tires for it! Best part of your video is showing how to unlock the xxx, although one minor complaint thus far on the xxx, not a fan of the key swab(can be lost or dropped to easily) also the xxx comes with “NO manual” thought that was strange, but all in all Talaria is on fire with the Sting R and xxx

I'm over the recommended weight on Luna's site. So far, I haven't had an issue, but I ride it pretty casually.
Love this bike. If I do go towards that e-dirt bike route after the Super 73 this is the bike I would think about getting alongside that Eclipse e-dirt bike. That one is cool asl to me also but it’ll def be between those two because they’re both what I would want right out the box stock without having to do anything to them. Love the content man thanks and stay safe out there on your rides bro✌️

I just got mine TODAY!! Put it together without much trouble, didn’t have any leftover parts or hardware except some little tiny pins(?). Looks like they go with the foot-pegs maybe. Pretty happy with it. Can’t wait to ride it again tomorrow

Looks great except for the front fender. See if you can figure out a way to lower it closer to the tire. It will match the rear and give it that killer street moto look.
Good time to have a 10,000$ printer and an electrical hookup to start printing 90$ fenders lol.

the tread is flowing a different way from the rear, like a directional tyre.

So is there no recommendations for grease or anything on that front axle? Also, is the whining sound as obnoxious as it sounds on camera or is that possibly because of the pitch of the whine?
It comes greased. But I’d say any standard grease will work in the future. And yes, that whine is real. It’s not that bad IRL.

If you buy them stock they are technically illegal but if you buy an xxx from Luna cycle the have an option for pedals
I believe the X3 has a 5000kw motor as advertised the Sting R has a 8000kw motor

by far the best video on this thing yet, question on re-gen, what are the perks to it again? Is it kinda like the Toyota Prius in the sense of giving back to the battery?
It gives back to the battery, but extra help braking is more beneficial. It extends the life of the pads and is crucial in technical riding.
Hi quick question great video by the way, my question was do you have to put electricity tape on the brown wire after you cut it so it doesn’t shock or do you just leave it like that
It’s good practice to tape it up. Good question.
I want this bike but I doubt price will remain $2999 when Luna has them back in stock. Great idea putting an AirTag in there too !

Had one for a few weeks. Sold it because the public hates them. I get dirty looks everywhere. Never have a problem in my Super or my EUCs

I didn't cut the wire on the X3. That one had some crazy combination of actions to unlock. I go over it in my original Talaria unboxing video.

Great video man. I was wondering if the 19-20mph that mine does out of the box was normal before cutting the wire. Good to see if I cut it should pick up to 45-50mph 💪

Everything I've read and heard about the XXX is Luna cycles the only one that has them in the US as of right now 😢. I just pulled the trigger on a Sting r instead of the XXX. But I live in the mountains and have more off-road trains to ride so this makes more sense to me. When I ordered my Sting r I asked about the XXX, they said they should be back in stock in 4 to 6 weeks.
@@barryhallsack8852 I tried to get one out of Hong Kong 🤣the Talaria guy alsmot sent it to my ex girlfriend non Hong Kong but realised I am in EU so cancelled it.. said he would get some China export puish tax if it ended up in Europe before the dealers even releseaed it here.. but got friends in Canada that can go and get it for me now.. but we will see. maybe they release it in EU as well one day.. but probably for another 1000 dollars as always here, total scammers here in Sweden for everything from outside of EU, even more so for anything from USA.. like a Beretta LTT the can cost up to 1800 dollars in USA will cost about 3500 dollars here... of course they scam us, no import tax is 100% on the original price... so alway stay to find things online and ask friends to ship me it privately instead.. but sometimes it just doe not work 🤣

It's a no-brainer.
Quick test question -- if you reconnect the brown wire, does it go back to the restricted mode? Or is severing the wire more like a toggle that reprograms the controller and there's no going back?

I’ve seen people put in switches to reconnect the wire, for instance when getting pulled over by the cops. So reconnecting it does turn back on the limiter.
@@DX48H9WM That would make sense to me, but I'm seeing a lot of info out there where folks say that once cut, there is no way to revert, even reconnecting does nothing. Like, when turned on, if cut, it upgrades the power and it's non-reversible.
Really just want someone who actually has one to try this and confirm it.

I’m considering either this or a Surron x but my only concern with this is that it’s too small I’m about 6’1 and I just want to wheels mainly so which one do you recommend?
The XXX is the best bang for your buck. I've seen taller riders on this bike. There are a few mods you can make to make it more comfortable and fit your hight better. The Talaria Boys are around that height, I think.

Mine came with off-road tyres.
There’s two different models and off-road and on road with super motor wheels
I think Luna cycle delivers with supermoto, and you can order the dirt tires too.
Yeah Luna cycle sells them with street tire
Because they only used to have off road tires, now they have street tires and an option of dirt tires
Should I get xxx for 3k or a razor rsf650 build for 3.1k total, but difference is the size and the razor pushes 11kw versus the xxx’s 6.5kw
What did you end up going with?

Great review, I missed the first round of orders, waiting for that email to pop up to order it, but Im in the fence with this or a used Super73 R Adventure for 3k, I do like the pedal 8 gear option for exercising, but I love the speed with these x3s. What's your thoughts?
Thanks, it depends on your style of riding. I mention in the video, I like riding my Super73 around town because I don't have to look over my shoulder, you know? The speed is nice, I will say.
Did you use a torque wrench for anything? Instructions say to torque bolts but I have yet to see someone do that for the XXX.

One more question. How in the world did you get the front tire disk break between the break pads! I loosened them alittle bit and all the fluid came out. Now I have no front breaks. Please tell me what I did wrong
I'm not a brake expert. I'd take it into a shop if you're not sure what happened. You can usually pry your pads apart using butter knife or flat head screwdriver. Careful not to damage the pads though. It sounds like that plastic space may have fallen out and the brakes were squeezed before you put the wheel on. It's not the end of the world, but you might need to bleed your brake lines.

It's the variable charger. Goes from 2 volts to 12 volts. Highly recommended.

@@TANQRGAMING4 I actually don't own this bike anymore. It's a fun bike. Ride it around before considering upgrading the motor. It's plenty fast out of the box. Check out the Talaria Boys for some of their builds. They're experts in this stuff.

when I was checking out the Talaria xxx on luna cycle it was said that it had 2400 kw but the special edition has 6500 kw.
