This is my dream house. Even as a little girl I wanted to live in a thatched cottage. I currently live in a restored 1802 cape in Maine. Old homes are precious to me. I see this kind of abandonment of old homes here too. Often people living in them as they fall down around them. I don't think this has been abandoned for that long though because there looks to be a modern oil diffuser on the windowsill by the crystal decanter and one as you go up the stairs. Unless very tidy squatters have been there. Thank you for exploring this incredible place.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE this sweet home!!! The outside of the house was deceiving, looked smaller from the outside. I counted 6-7 bedrooms and downstairs was large.
I'm in love with this house. We have a barn conversion that's about 250 years old, with the brick and beams. I do antique furniture restoration so I'm just looking at all this beautiful furniture and imaging how stunning it could all look being brought back to its original state.

Many of these properties featured by explorers were owned by someone who died having not made a will, and with no obvious heirs to inherit it. If you've ever seen the programme 'Heir Hunters', you will know that in such cases, specialist firms can try and hunt down more distant relatives but they aren't always successful. If everything leads to a dead end, eventually the property, possessions and any cash / savings passes to the crown but there is a period of several years that has to pass before that happens, in case anyone does come forward. During that period of time, it's all basically in limbo.
Absolutely LOVE that whoever redid it kept so many of the original wall beams visible. I love the thickness of the windows and those wooden floors are absolutely gorgeous. And I love that they kept those gigantic fireplaces. I love old buildings and this one's about as old as you can get. Absolutely amazing. I'm glad it's still standing for us to see. Thanks for sharing.
What an amazing find! The owners or next generation know what they have and respect as you did in the explore. There must be someone coming in to dust and preserve everything inside.

Only consumables laying around are cleaning products in the kitchen, I highly doubt it's been empty for over 25 years let alone 5, there is literally no dust anywhere........he even said he can smell varnish and wood, that wood would definitely be dusty and splitting had it been untouched for 20+ yrs

That is an absolutely amazing house. So much detail on everything.Should think it would be a nightmare getting that furniture in there unless it was built in the actual rooms!!That computer though looked well modern to have been from 2002 though.Even the grounds outside would have been beautiful.I think if I was to become a millionaire I'd have a place like that.Awesome!Love you and Lisa together can't wait to see what you discover next. This is definately my favourite place you've gone to so far!xxxx
What a perfectly splendid spot. That back sunroom is where I would be every chance I had. I would put a little set up so I didn't have to leave it for long.
The house looks like someone comes in and keeps up the maintenance on it. There was barely a speckle of dust.
A beautiful house is in good condition and great furniture. Thanks, for the video from Morrow Ga.
Museum quality furniture, and stain glass. those artifacts were so cool
Lisa is so sweet, you guys make a lovely couple. 😍

Thanks glad you enjoyed it hope you like the explores
@@AdamMark they are the best ones on here. I just couldn't stop watching them, back to back !
Plenty more to come
Thanks!
Goodness that was a beautiful home. It’s hard to believe that such a place exists and no one has bought it. I would definitely buy it if I had the money. It’s a treasure for sure.
But you haven't and now it's been up you can bet its been trashed and emptied.
Well done revealers.
@@suzyqualcast6269 hon, I’m sure it’s sold. Chill out.
this place was so incredible we forgot we had chops on the barbq. burnt them black, great job filming. from New Brunswick Canada. when you get a great house you do a great job
This is a fairytale house! So beautifully detailed. Everything is so gorgeous! Much bigger than expected. 😊👍
This is by far, my favourite video.I love, love Tudor buildings. This place should be preserve and kept as a museum. It does look like it has been used as a holiday home too. The place must be so steeped in history even though you couldn't find out much about it. Well done for finding this treasure and thanks for sharing it, for us all to admire.
This place should be a holiday cottage that would be amazing. Someone is definitely looking after place far to clean to be abandoned. Great video xxx
This is a beautiful place! Someone is definitely taking care of it. The broken window looks as if someone broke in . So glad it hasn't been trashed ! Thanks Glad to see Lisa! You make a cute pair! I'm calling this the Hobbit House! 🇺🇲🦉🌻
This house is at the top of your list. Magnificent!! Thankfully some one caresfor it!!
Why on earth is it empty, in a million years most people wouldn't be able to afford a place like this. Stunning ☺️ it must be saved. Thank you
Many of these properties featured by explorers were owned by someone who died having not made a will, and with no obvious heirs to inherit it.
@@Wally-H Thank you. So sad though, another very old property left to fall into ruin, if not vandalised before
This has to one of the most beautiful old tutor homes I have ever seen! The furniture is amazing. 🤍🤎 Great video.
I can’t even imagine! I can only dream of living in a home like that. Just absolutely gorgeous!
The fireplaces are called inglenook I think x
What an amazing find! The owners or next generation know what they have and respect as you did in the explore. There must be someone coming in to dust and preserve everything inside.
I love your videos , and the classic old music you add to some of your video footage , it really sets the mood , also thank you for the respect that you show throughout your investigations , Happy and Safe Travels to you .
Wow ! Wow ! Wow ! Amazing place thanks for a great explore . Great to see Lisa back
Amazing isn't it
I find it pretty amazing that somebody was able to move the larger beds and wardrobes into the bedrooms.
Come on can't believe no one has gone in to take this stuff it's aboustly beautiful
Looking around that Tudor style house, tells me some one goes in there cleaning and looking after it. It is glorious.
Great video. I absolutely loved seeing this home. The furniture was so awesome. Thank you for sharing!🇺🇲
Brilliant explore. That place is definitely being maintained. It is just too clean. Surprised at the lack of security by who ever is maintaining this.
Maybe someone has bought it and is fixing it up - I always wondered do you need permission to go in these houses??
Someone is cleaning everything there etc. Lucky you weren't caught breaking and entering
Only consumables laying around are cleaning products in the kitchen, I highly doubt it's been empty for over 25 years let alone 5, there is literally no dust anywhere........he even said he can smell varnish and wood, that wood would definitely be dusty and splitting had it been untouched for 20+ yrs
This place is incredible, I could easily move in there tomorrow, and nit tell anyone where I am ❤
I like how you keep your videos honest and simple, keep doing what you are doing
Adorable little house in the meadow !!! I love this kind of little cottage ... With the little well ! So cute !!! Just like in fairytale 's dream indeed !!! Really great discovery today (as usual) 😉
Absolutely stunning great find guys got to be the best explorer ever thanks for sharing keep up the good work and thank you
Absolutely stunning! Love those fireplaces and the windows! Would love to have it to cozy into!!! Y’all take care!
Hello Adam+Lisa, this is just stunning+my favourite place you’ve explored to date!!! My favourite is the thatched cottage+
everything is so stunning!!! I’d move in today if I had the £ plus it was all on the ground level as I can’t do stairs any more!!! The lake+wishing well…it’s the best you’ve explored to date…everything is just too much from the fireplaces, beams, stairs just everything is just out of this world…love the Grandfather clock how it changes from day to night!!! You’ve definitely found a true gem with this one…well done+thank you both for sharing with everybody!!! X🙃❤️
This should be purchased and turned into a quaint vacation spot. What fun
This looks like a public Museum because it's so clean, and the food looked fairly fresh...but anyway it is truly a lovely, magical place! Thank you for sharing!
It’s like the house is staged perfectly for people like you. Did you see all the cleaning supplies in the kitchen? It was hard to find a cobweb. It is so beautiful with all the woodwork. Nice find!
I realy love this house ,the fire places are stunning, the whole house is amazing, beautiful x
You're so right, like something out of a fairytale! Absolutely stunning!
The carvings over the windows and up the stair case is carved in Tudor roses ,
I’ve been following for months .. NHS WORKER! You help me get through my night shifts :) thank you Adam and lisa! 🥰🥰

What a beautiful place!!! I especially loved the bedrooms.... little doors... little rooms 💕
Wow what an amazing property. I get the feeling this was a tv celebrity’s home. So beautiful and quirky inside and out. You did amazing to find this, let’s hope nobody finds it and ruins it.

GO TOBELL . I WOULD TRY IT !!!!👍🤗❤️
DOESN'T GO TO HELL !!! SORRY 👍
I absolutely love this cottage and the grounds. Beautiful !
What an amazing property! I enjoyed seeing this immensely. How would one go about finding properties like this to purchase? I cannot understand why anyone would just abandon this gorgeous home. Makes me sad. This house needs love!
This house is loved by somebody. It is so clean. Might be empty but not abandoned. Its too clean.. someone has caring. for it.
OMG!!!! The fireplaces, the furniture. Everything in that house is absolutely awesome!!!!!!I would live there NOW!!!! North Carolina. USA
So would I it's stunning isn't it
NC here also! Northwest NC.
Me too!!! Alexandria, Virginia
This home is so full of historical detail and is amazing, from the woodwork and fireplaces to the stained glass and furniture. What a treasure. Complete with a wishing well! This is the stuff of my dreams. I would move to England and live there while researching my English heritage (Ancestry says I'm 80% British Isles). Thanks for this video! Love from the western US
What an amazing old world fairy tale home. I absolutely loved it, all the antique furniture, loved the huge old fireplaces , a lot of bathrooms even wash sinks in the bedrooms. The wishing wells I'm sure were the source of drinking water. thanks for the tour. Have fun and keep the videos coming. cheers.
The most beautiful place I have ever seen... Inside and out... Love Lisa poking through the things I want to see and read. Your best find EVER.... and don't tell anyone where it is ♥️
You two are so cute. What a gentleman you are Adam. Lisa is so sweet. She is adorable.
My gosh! If I lived anywhere near that house (I live in California) I'd volunteer some time just to be able to properly clean the wood inside and be able to look around. I kept hoping that you would open the small door near the kitchen. I am also a huge fan of owls. It's absolutely amazing! Thank you for sharing your wonderful find with us all.
Me too. Heart breaking to see it being left..although i do believe someone is looking after it..but for how long?
This house is amazing! It's like no one is there because they are running an errand or something. One of my favorites!
Absolutely loved the video its like stepping into a time capsule with all the solid wood furniture stained panes of glass stunning wood floor that you don't see like that anymore
Love this home!!! All the window seats and the architecture is amazing!
