"AMERICAN TUNE" (ukulele cover)

The third single from Paul Simon's third studio album, "There Goes Rhymin' Simon", based on the melody of the hymn "O Sacred Head, Now Wounded." A meditation on the American experience, Simon stated in a 2011 interview that, although he did not write overtly political songs, "American Tune" probably came the closest as it was written just after Nixon was elected.
