HONDA CX500 TRACKER BUILD PLAN!! EP 2

Honda CX500 Build outline and plan! This CX500 is going in a tracker direction with upright bars and more comfortable riding position. Rear shock info PLEASE READ:
This is a Ducati 900ss rear shock and I chose this based on the eye to eye design, overall length, position of the adjustment points, and reservoir position. You notice that I put on a new spring because the original is TOO SOFT! I knew this going in. The red spring is 850 lb/in rate and was determined by Racetech using their geometry calculator linked below. You will have to contact them directly to determine what spring is best for your application.

Front forks:
This bike came to me with these forks and it turn out they are a mix of components which caused problems later in the build. The basic components are sourced from a 2005 GSXR1000. Only some conversion bearings are needed to fit it to the bike. From there you need to fabricate steering stops and other things for full integration. I show all of these things in the videos.
